What are the chances of returning to a very hard heavy lifting construction job after a L5\S1 Alif with pedicle screws ??

I had a 4 level failed thoracic surgery with arthosis at T7/8 and live with a Medtronic opiod pain pump and poor quality of life. Wondering if there is any hope for me or what treatments are out there to help. Nothing to date has touched the pain except the pump. I hurt on the right side at the bra line and it radiates around to the sternum. I stay as active as possible but have to lie down frequently to take pressure off. I am highly educated but had to quit my job and now also live on disability which has ruined me finacially as well. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
