Well, you'll also trigger disorder using Burn on top of Shock, and Burnice benefits from the 250% for Yanagi's core (but not from Yanagi's Sig Multiplier) Since Polarity Disorder doubles down on AP, and Yanagi can trigger a lot of them through the fight, Yanagi is the one you should focus your AP on. Unless you're already hitting high AP numbers (by high I mean above 600 while in combat), where stacking it would give diminishing returns. In this case, you can balance a bit of AP to Burnice.

If they get increased DEF, maybe? It will be either at the same power level as DMG or slightly better. Depends a bit on how much DEF they get and how much DMG% you already own (outside of Disc 5).

Take her current strength and times it by 2 or 3 plus slap on e2 ex multi slash in base kit. That's how strong she was.

That's a great point that I didn't consider, but I don't like it that much, because you'll lose a lot of ATK and reduce the effectiveness from Thunder Metal 4pc. Also, even with the faster stacking, once you hit 4 stacks you won't benefit from AM anymore. At the end of the day, it's more about kill time and personal taste. How fast you kill something changes the evaluation of different sets and playstyles.

​@okMuzzy reject 4p thunder metal, reform to 2p hormone/2p thunder/2p freedom. Hormone can be flexed out for chaos etc. Way more consistency for slight dmg trade off which can be made up in most cases via good disks.

Sadly, it's not. Thunder Metal already provides 28% Combat ATK, so the 16% Combat ATK per EX SA cast (at Phase 5) feels underwhelming.

if you're going to run burnice you have to use Lucy

I was always planning to run miyabi in a mono ice team with lycaon and soukaku. Getting burnice was more to round out my fire damage+chase m6 on lucy and nico.

@@Bl4kAce Yes, in this case, run AM D6. If you're not building another assault after the disorder trigger, you can also remove Fanged Metal 4pc, since you won't benefit from it. Instead, you can run Freedom Blues 4pc, or a 2/2/2 setup using Fanged Metal/Freedom Blues/Chaos Jazz. And no, buildup is not affected by your level, only anomaly damage.

Qingyi is way better for burst attack characters since they can take advantage of that 80% extra stun damage multiplier.😊

And extremely poor team that’s requiring burnice to fix lighters inherent core passive problem and niche restrictions on activating his full kit… lighter needs Miyabi more then Miyabi needs lighter… she’s designed to be anomaly unit and work best with them lighter is a bonus not a requirement… and this team is the only option he has outside of the fact he’s not designed to synergize with her better then her own faction members… soukaku is a better option then lighter by virtue of slotting right in… this team comp is far from her best in slot options or even easier cheaper options… it’s called cope…😕

@CrimsonKaiserx8 you would be correct if it wasn't for the fact that sokaku is slow af and has way less stun effectiveness which is needed for nuking the living shit out of enemies with miyabi, while what you are saying would be cheap and good, it would not be a better team.

And yet in the short term and for most people soukaku is the easiest/safest option to choose compared to most other characters by nature of the natural synergy… Slow or not with her regardless investment wise outweighs any of that tbh… tell we see new support come out…

How is lighter universal when his kit is specifically tailored for only fire and ice attack agents of which we only have two who benefit from all of his kit… Putting Lucy behind him on a team with many attacker doesn’t just solve everything… especially if it’s not even an attacker who can make use of his fire/ice buffs/debuffs… Plus Miyabi and yanagi might end up being the BIS potentially… numbers haven’t even come out yet but that team combo is literally designed to have much better synergy then anything lighter is capable of rn… Outside of solider 11, Ellen, dps Burince, dps lucy, and dps soukaku lighters possibilities are slim picking to none existent… 😕

Also you do realize in context outside of those options his pull value to most people is practically zero to non as it stands… Like we can assume they add more agents but how does that fix or make up for the lack there of options and team comes for him NOW?! I fail to see the fact we have next to no indication your going to be getting more support to justify pulling him rn… Also his kit is extremely niche and breaking it down he only covers two out of the five elements so that’s 40% chance a coming character will be ice or fire and he only benefits with an attack agent or 1/5 chance for that agent attribute typing to naturally synergize with him aka a 20% chance… Future support for him is going to be few and far between and we have NO indication it’s coming anytime soon so I’m sorry but that is lacking for him and clearly your not seeing it…🤦‍♂️

@@PatrickRatman i lost the 50/50 on Burnice..lol but i finally managed to achieve a S ranking on Shiyu Defense 7 for the 1st time after having Yanagi as the 2nd team, Jane was the other. problem is that seth also works perfectly with Yanagi... so had to decide which team to put him in, but ultimately put him with Jane, since I did pull Yanagi's signature, but opted to skip Janes so she could use the AP boost to maximize her core skills and also get a bit of shielding, therefore Caesar went with Yanagi

@@am80ma If you have Rina and Lucy you could go mono electric with Yanagi. im currently running Jane-Seth-Lucy/Yanagi-Burnice-Ceaser you could basically do the same but since you don't have burnice just replace with Rina (assuming you have her)

Weeping gemini is way better than rainforest gourmet, and chaos jazz is also way better than thunder set, the reason for that is that disorder teams with Burnice are way better than shock teams.

Miyabi has Lycaon and soukaku as a f2p team without needing 2 limited s rank banner characters… We don’t even know if that’s her BIS more less how that team comp will even be close to wha your projecting it to be… It’s not fair or realistic to make the assumption ONLY Miyabi/burnice/lighter is objectively the best or only team that makes her function just as a means to grasp at straws to make justifying getting lighter for Miyabi as a requirement… Miyabi/lycaon/soukaku is arguably more friendly and obtainable for f2p players and already tailor made for ice centered dps characters…😕

If you could help me by explaining how did you decide at the end would be a huge help. I am at your exact same situation with the same dilema.

Miyabi and Lighter work unless you have a Attacker/Lighter faction in the team Aswell

@Fletcher-e6d , i think that miyabi will be a "normal" Premium Anomaly Agent, I.e, she needs either a faction agent or an Anomaly Agent. If lighter is like qin yi though (attacker and faction), you will need to run either piper or burnice with lighter if you him to slot with miyabi. I think piper+ lighter+miyabi will be a fine team, btw.

Or maybe it’s just time to come to the realization that lighter got the short end of the stick and with context utterly shafted at this point… The amount of value he hold specially for Miyabi is really just you and many others who want to justify and potentially cope with the fact he ONLY viable team on paper where you can make him remotely work for him with Miyabi is with burnice… That’s 3 limited s ranks… most f2p and or low spenders won’t have access to it or the luck to even have access to this team comp… and even then Miyabi has better options both in other limited s ranks and base game characters… The unfortunate reality is lighter is a very niche stun character pigeon hold into a very limited range of supporting fire and ice attack agents… it’s always specific and his options come down to really only solider 11 and Ellen… He’s limited by his core passive requirements and even worse with his release window being between section 6 banners and the most hyped/anticipated character in the last two years… If your gonna blame anyone blame the devs for such a poorly timed decision and his kit limitations… this isn’t a case of Miyabi needs lighter but lighter needs Miyabi… And even then Miyabi is already setup to function better with her own squad members…. Lighter realistically and objective as of the current state of the game and limited roster/coming roster with 1.4 very little in way of return on investment and pull value… If anyone is that in love with him or already has character they have invested in prior that will be able to utilize him properly they you can make a case to pull for him… But it’s honestly best for most to make the wise choose to skip him and save for Miyabi… plain and simple…😕

Miyabi has no need for a stunner, even if you consider Lighter's buffs she's better off using an actual support or Caesar, I'm very confident that her best teams will be Yanagi / Rina / Miyabi and Burnice / Miyabi / Caesar
