The trick isn’t really about maverick, but more so how the reinforcements work, you can do this with ace too, but it’s always better to bring some kind of EMP with thatcher lol

Still can usually work in ranked, you set it up in the prep faze and is something you can fall back to later. If the opponents are lazy and don’t clear 2nd it’s east kills, if they do clear it rarely will hurt you anyways, I find it works about 60% of the time for me so I’d consider it a win (diamond elo)

@@-downcast- I used to play thorn a lot, if you’re smart with your placements then you can get kills but it’s more about forcing an enemy to push or retreat but her losing the 1.5 was actually a pretty big deal in my opinion.
