This video explains why it is best to have a separate computer that you use just for work. If you can't purchase a dedicated work computer, then you need to have a separate login on your computer that you use exclusively for work stuff.

Solid point. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have separate machines for work and personal.

Good for you man! Forcing yourself out of your comfort zone is somewhat exposure therapy. I did something similar in college. I started volunteering to do the team presentations to get more comfortable presenting. This really helped me with the presentations and workshops that I've done in my career.

Minimize the permissions you want from the user unless they are crucial for the app's functionality, and also write a privacy policy page for your landing page of the app. I hope they verify your app. keep rocking champ

Thanks, Suhayb! They actually verified it and we’re now in business. This was about their OAuth client not the actual app. I didn’t know I had to actually apply for verification

Do you have to pay a fee to have an app listed to the app store even if it's being tested? If I want to have an iOS app, even just for myself or small amount of users, is there a price barrier to pay?
@KhalidWar25 күн бұрын
Listing apps on app stores is free but you have to have a “developer account” to publish apps. It costs $25/year for Google Play Store and $99/year for Apple App Store. It’s the same for all apps regardless of user base even it is you and your friends. I think there might be another way but I’m not 100% sure tbh.

Hey Khalid, loved the app idea. Here are few suggestions from a product designer who specialises in such app and website designs focusing on conversions, be it sign up or subscription: Never ever put a paywall infront of your users without giving them some value first. Until you have tried and tested insights, you should never put it in the onboarding for sure. One way that has worked best in my 3 years of experience is that either have a freemium version based on usage(limited entries or features) or time limit (7 days free without credit card details)

You’re already on KZbin. Search for vandad flutter course.
@IELTSwithJamoliddin21 күн бұрын
@@KhalidWar I have already finished Vandad's 37 hour course but maybe I used the tutorial wrong,I built along with him and I have the ready my_notes app right now,but I feel like I actually can't do much with his course alone,so I have been learning at a Programming Learning Centre and some other resources too.I think it's a great course if you use it right but following along and just trying to understand was not enough and I feel like it was probably not worth so much time I have spent on that course it had some weak points like he didn't cover that many widgets,a few months actually,but I can't deny that he put so much effort into that course and I appreciate his efforts
