In my case i had 15 elephants and 8 rhinos so I just make a zone where the infestations was and send them there it was kinda easy and solved my farm population 😂

very small tip: use blunt weapons instead of sharp weapons for your melees in the front, the bugs have a super high armor class against sharp weapons but blunt weapons carve right through them. the same goes for mechanoids

Noob here. How are the pawns behind the front line not blowing away their friends infront of them? Mod? My pawns have a problem of being better at shooting their friends on accident than hitting their intended target. I said heck with it and made a checkerboard kill box to go melee only.

if pawn1 is standing on a tile, the 3 tile around pawn1, filled with gunmen will shoot over pawn1, not hitting pawn1, it's a 100% chance not to hit pawn 1 (6 tiles has a chance to hit pawn1, but is significantly decreased) sorry for bad explanation

There's a certain distance where colonists will not accidentally hit each other but I don't remember how far it is.

Yesterday a max infestation hit me and spilled out of the infestation-bait cave... into the mortar field besides the mountain. At the same time a visiting guest inexplicably armed with a single-shot rocket launcher was hanging around. As I mobilized my pawns aginst the bugs the guest shot into the them, exploding a dozen explosives and a few insanity shells. It was the most spectacular ending I've ever had.

I had a relatively large infestation in my rec room once, the floor was carpet, an aerofleet wandered in, and they all burned along with a megascreen tv and several sculptures.
