I noticed that nobody ever seems to run the M16 in these games, any particular reason? Bad servers?

@@andersonprimer no the reason is that because of the emulation, you basically got a straight firing automatic laser. So it's banned in matches.

@@The_Deceived Ah, good to know. Bums me out though, I was always a huge fan of the M16 (especially on Terr) as long as lag wasn't excessive. I was excited to try out the servers, but slightly less so now lol Same thing with the regular M4 and M14? I noticed those are never equipped either, but was less concerned because I never really used them.

@@andersonprimer I think most people used to use the M16 as terror lol. But considering it's emulation, there are always some oddities that slightly change the characteristics of a game. And to even up the playing field, in clan matches the M16 M14 and sometimes loud M4 are banned. In pubs you can use them as much as your heart desires though :D

There are usually a couple every day. We mostly play weekends though with the occasional weekday.

I randomly came across this video and I I feel obligated to comment, I’m 30 years old now, when this game came out I was like 7 or 8 , let me be the first to tell you I spent my entire childhood playing this game online with My dad and his friends , I remember being able to change the color of your name with certain keys , playing crossroads and frost fire glitching into the containers backwards jumping , this was the first game I ever played , I use to hear “ frag out “ in my sleep lol , waking up at 7 am before the sun came up with a bowl of cereal and playing the game until the sun came up again. I can’t even put into words just hearing the sounds of the guns and the grenades going off it just woke up a part of my childhood I almost forgot , thank you for this. I honestly truly loved this game, thousands of hours spent of my childhood on this gem

@@The_Deceived what about grenade spots? I see private games with 2 people in them, I’m sure it’s to explain the maps in more specific detail? Or even explaining in detail how bullet spray works, etc. A video like that would definitely keep new people playing. These daily players wreck all these new players and get no voice chat on top of it so there’s no help at all.

It's a game which once you get hooked, never lets you go. I played this game 20 years ago, and (since a year) playing again. It has it flaws, but still one of the best games they ever made imo
