Is it possible to do the opposite direction? so i want to type a name in Sheets and it draws the full info from my Google Contacts? instead of typing the full name, Phone Number, and Emails.

Yes, this is possible with calling Sheet Director custom functions in the Google Sheets formula. However it is not rolled out yet on all applications. Please watch out for new features on Sheet Director and soon it will be rolled out.

I am totally confused. This created a list of 25 new contacts that were not from the google sheets sheet I want to use. I have no idea who those contacts are. I want the contacts from my google sheet to go into my google contacts. This action did exactly what your video showed, but I have no idea how to get my sheet of contacts into google contacts. I'm not interested in the sample sheet contacts. Please advise

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. While posting the records to Contacts, You will have two options "Apply Template " and "Map Manually" Apply Template will apply a few demo data on Google Sheets and post those records to Contacts If you have your own records then you will have to select "Map Manually" which reads the headers of the Google Sheets and map the value of the field in Google Contacts. Wish you were more affordable, the "free" package can't even support personal day to day integration due to the very stringent caps, so is essentially unusable. $300/year for an add-on to just transfer tasks to a spreadsheet is a bit steep for any person.

How do I update contact on Hubspot using sheets? I triend the "syncronize" version, but maybe because its in beta mode, it return an error relate to my ID.

To synchronize, you need to have HubSpot ID in your Google Sheets. This can be simply brought in by selecting this field when you get records from HubSpot in the Synchronize service itself. Can you try and reach out to our support team in case of any issue?

Hi, thanks. So if I add a new contact to the same sheet under the other contacts and click excecut. Does your add on adds all the contacts again or just the new one? Also I would like to create a few columns and and only sync the rest of the columns to my contacts, is that possible?

Hi Morteza If you are using Synchronize service type, then, only the new contacts are added (ensure that you keep the id in Google Sheet). And only the columns that you have in Google Sheet will get updated on the Google Contacts

Excellent. It works only for query and post. synchronize is not working. And from Google sheet to Smartsheet is synchronize adding new rows. and reverse Smartsheet to Google Sheet is not working

Excellent! Is there any way to update a contact? I tried erasing the status field and running the script again and it creates a new entry. Then I just merge the 2 contacts, but it is an extra step to be performed inside the Contacts app. Am I getting it right? Again, your add-on is just amazing!

Yes, you can. But you need to upload the excel file into Google Drive and open as Google Sheet first. Then you can use Sheet Director normally from there.

Sheet Director connects Google Sheets and any other apps. To achieve what you are looking for, you can use Sheet Director to pull data from smartsheet into Google Sheets and then use Fillable Slide add-on to fill it in your Google Slides presentation.

And are you saying I can click my saved query in google sheet everyday and it will bring over either all of the new data entered in my Smartsheet or it can copy the entire data set from Smartsheet and paste it over the old data in my google sheet, correct?

Hi Maria, To get Sheet Director, you need to install it from GSuite Marketplace - gsuite.google.com/marketplace/app/sheet_director/428888432468?hl=en-GB&pann=cwsdp You can run queries manually by clicking on the "Execute" button or schedule it to run automatically (periodically - hourly, daily, weekly etc) Sheet Director brings a copy of the Smartsheet data to Google Sheets every time the query runs.

Meaning, if I sign up for the $9/month plan to be able to receive unlimited rows of data, plus to have the ability to run this query automatically will I run out of times the hourly query can run in a month?

@@mariapauls3754 Running scheduled query every hour will make 24 X 31 = 744 which is more than 500 quota of the Lite plan. You can schedule the query to run every 2 hours to be within the quota. Or you could take higher plans (Pro, Premium, etc)
