The first time I saw him was in North and South when he was standing on some stairs looking down. My heart actually skipped a beat! When he did the scene when her carriage is pulling away and he says " Look back at me and she doesn't, the disappointment in his eyes was so real i remember thinking this man is a great actor and great looking. I saw him interviewed on the Dish ( Waitrose podcast" ) he was so relaxed and funny. Apparently he prefers gluten free food. Sadly he said his dad " never thought he had a " real job". He didn't seem bitter about it tho.😊 Considering the success he has had in his career and his personal wealth is considerable I might have snapped back somerhing rude to my dad. He is a more polite child than I would have been. I feel he was very close to his mum. ❤.
