Don’t worry, your ankles, wrists, and shoulders won’t care for you much either! But seriously, you’ll be surprised how long you’ll be able to enjoy the sport if you ride within your limits. Look at The Dubya World Vet Motocross Championships, they have an over 70 y/o class.

Nice, bet that was an exciting spot for the starts. There was a deep hole that developed on the landing of that roller. Unfortunately you don’t see it till after you jump the roller, I landed in that and went for the ole huckabuck.

I want to hit that double so bad (the one after the highway jump), ik I can make it. I hit the doubles on the national layout just fine out of the rollers
@wheelie1889 ай бұрын
I hear ya, it’s funny how steep doubles make you second guess yourself. That one is alil different than the other two. It’s right out of a corner and the landing isn’t in line with the take off. Since it’s right out of a corner you’ll need carry some momentum through that turn. With the landing not being in line, you’ll want to either steer to the right on the take off, or jump it as far right as possible, which will put you landing in the middle of the downhill. On new jumps, I like to find someone who is jumping it, tuck in behind them, watch what lines they’re taking, and get a feel of what speed you’ll need to clear it. ✊
