I love the community gardens, I used to run that path. The cactuses are so big now. I love sitting at the beach there, just reading my books, so nice. Such a fun video. Love so many of those places, and sad that they are succumbing to big business as time goes on. The medical care is so bad. It is weird so many older people move to Hawaii, it is so far from good medical care and when something goes wrong outcomes are so so much worse. Crazy how expensive it has gotten to live on the island. Sorry about your son Tami. Glad you have a sacred space to go visit. The first edition is such a special deck!! Ohh, the Coqui's.... I got my favorite decks from HoneyLou; she sent me two micro-trimmed Thoth decks, one is a trimmed Greenie and the other is a trimmed '96 edition Thoth...I have other decks but my HoneyLou decks are far and wide my favorites because she trimmed them PERFECTLY and they are Thoth! I have the Alchemical Tarot and want to ask you if you got that huge book that goes with the cards? If so, what do you think of his take on the meanings of some of them? Example: the Four of Cups.

Really enjoyed your thoughts on your collection. I gave the Raziel and the Vampire decks to my godson on two separate occasions. The ongoing impact they've had on him made me very glad I made that choice. Have been repurposing the Angel deck in various art journal projects. His Alchemical deck deep dive concluded last Saturday. The handouts included a PDF for a journal that I am going to expand upon over the fall and winter seasons, so I can include all the alchemical info/insights I was taught back in my mid and late teens, as well as some relevant artwork.

Tamipie - I've had the Voyager Tarot Book that I picked up at a 2nd hand book store in Sedona for at least couple of years now. I still haven't picked up the deck because like you I was hoping to pick a vintage copy...but at one point I'll probably just order a new deck.

I've got the vintage Voyager deck (and a very unique story about how I was introduced to it shortly after it came out) but unfortunately, it's missing its Emperor card. Since that's such a significant trump to me, I'm very bummed about that Assume I used it as a bookmark for something I was reading decades ago. Finally broke down and got the new, smaller deck about three years ago, because I missed working with it so much. If total truth be told, the Voyager deck is my version of so many peoples' sentimental favorite plaid-backed RWS deck in terms of personal development and really syncing in with the cards. Also: visiting your channel right because because you popped into my mind as I was purchasing an oracle deck I've been eyeing for at least a year and a half with one of my fictional characters in mind ... 😎

The Voyager Tarot Way of the Great Oracle is worth picking up if you like the deck.

I have the Tarot of the Sevenfold Mystery and for me it was the greyhounds in the deck that got me. And on the backs! Also, I think I may be the one that bought the Burning Serpent Oracle off you. :)

I've seriously thought about peeling the backs off the new Buddha tarot and re-backing it. They peel on their own so I don't think it would be difficult. I only have the blue sky edition of the Alchemical Tarot.

What a lovely collection. 😍 I’ve never seen that Lenormand or that majors deck. Thanks for sharing them! I love his artwork it’s cozy and warm and I have his Marseille, but I rarely use it. Still, I’ve always had a reverence for that tan Alchemical deck. Almost bought it so many times and never did and now that it’s OOP. I’ll likely end up getting the blue one some day if that one doesn’t go OOP on me before I get to it lol. Every few weeks I almost buy The First Occult Tarot! I keep talking myself out of it because I don’t use the one I have but I have a feeling that’s one I’ll end up with before long. Fun video💕

Cool idea, thanks! For me, Fallen Angels wins hands-down over Krans' oracles for the types of readings I generally do. I enjoyed studying Krans' oracles but for readings, nope. Iain McGilchrist in his hemisphere hypothesis tomes (which I’ve found fantastically insightful for understanding divination, ritual practices, etc.) might say that Krans appeals to Left-brain (distinct bits put together) while Fallen Angels is R-brain intuitive (smoother composition). I have a hard time reading with both Moon/Star Child (hoping that will change in the future because so lovely) so I prefer Tyldwick. And I also have to choose Victorian Romantic/Bohemian Gothic over Sacred Bee. So Fun! Blessings!

Have you read The Meadow by Marie Howe? Really lovely. Also, Antonio Machado’s “Last Night as I was Sleeping” is so evocative; I was introduced to his work by the incomparable John O’Donohue whose Blessings are exquisitely rendered. I’ve recently decided to dive into The Romantics, thanks to a Gothic novel I’m writing plus the Philosopher Iain McGilchrist’s tomes on, oddly enough, brain hemispheres! 😊 Blessings!

When I was a teenager I preferred to think of the Yod depictions as flying saucers. I almost picked the Crystal Skull Tower. The plant is Corpse flower. I actually can't help but chuckle over the MASSIVE amounts of drama in the Ritual Tower. This was quite enjoyable. I like that small ice cream colors Marseille deck a lot.🌟♥

I'm a writer, so may miss some perceptions based on the colors because not an artist but I love reading abstract cards more intuitively.
