If we give Annual Accrual Limit of 24 Days then the employee will get 24 leaves by the end of the year. Here the employee is limited to getting 24 leaves by the end of the year. For the ceiling rule, I will go with an example. Let's say an employee got hired on 1/1/2020 and this employee's Annual Accrual Limit is 24. That means by the end of the year 2023 he has 84 leaves. Let's say this employee didn't use any of his leaves. If he resigns then the company must convert these 84 days into cash and must pay it to this employee. It will be a loss to a company to pay such a huge amount for nothing. That is why the company gives this ceiling rule to avoid such scenarios. if the ceiling rule is 60 then an employee can have a maximum of 60 days of leaves in his leave bucket

Hi Ankur, beyond Oracle or any other ERP for that matter, Position is something a kind of placeholder of a role that the organisation has got. Mostly we shall have positions in government or public sectors. For example a position named "District Collector - XYZ District". In this example XYZ is the name of the district, the person who is holding a job as "District Collector" can be appointed to that position or sometimes who is holding a job as "Sub-Collector" (we know in exceptional cases) can be appointed to that position temporarily or as additional charge. This is just an example for you to visualise the differences between in big picture. But it is indeed a quite big topic. Let me know if i should help you further narrowing down this into details! But the scope of Areas of Responsibility in Person Security Profile related to Organization hierarchy is one among "Organization Hierarchy for Legal Employer","Organization Hierarchy for Department" or "Organization Hierarchy for Business Unit". So i really wonder leveraging AOR for this specific requirement. But yes, custom criteria is definitely an option. New Hire: As you know, the organization fields such as Legal Employer, Business Unit & Department in "New Hire" requires Organization Security Profile to secure the values in these LOVs. Luck doesn't favor us using Areas of Responsibility in Organization Security Profile. Hence, there is room for inconsistency when the Job Role has got both Person Management & New Hire.
