well practicing he needs to sing with chester so he can match his tone and pitch once he gets that down then he can move to using just an instrumental that way he will sound closer to him and ppl wont be assholes and tell him to give up or quit or whatever because he wasnt perfect like cheater was but if he keeps practicing i think he can get pretty damn close to his voice its in there i can hear it

Even the title of the album turned out to be right on point didn't it! A few weeks after Kiss From the Darkness dropped, the COVID era started, with live concerts stopped for two years... lots of bands especially new ones like Girlfriend, couldn't make it through...

And I can't forget about this comment too! Thanks again for leaving the comment on part number two, you definitely earned your bonus review no doubt haha! Yeah the album definitely got me through the darkness of the pandemic and to the other side so I'm thankful for that no doubt. I hope that the bands that were able to continue find some sort of reinvigoration at some point. The more music the better and I hope we can all foster our creative energies bravely and proudly for all the world to see. Thanks again Bill.

Thanks for such a thoughtful review! I hope you will accept a comment on the first song. From many interviews and statements we know that SCANDAL's music is almost always written and worked out with the live performance in mind. They've even said that a song for them is not really completed until they perform it live. So I feel strongly that "Tonight" can't be just about a 'romance" of two people but is more about the relation of the band to their fans. This explains lyrics like "Strangeness gnaws at my naked heart , Honestly, I can't stay sane while the seconds tick by as we battle amidst mass popularity" - "Hum so that I can hear it, a melody proving you exist tonight" - "we'll overturn even an irreversible hierarchy with imagination" - "We'll sound the chimes of the creation of heaven and earth again and again, Let's have greatest romance of the century" ... I think this is about reaching out to each person in the live audience.

It would be a great idea to never change his character's race, gender, or orientation in any possible future reboots or remakes in honor of Jason David Frank. That would be ideal May the power protect you, always!

I'm not here to disagree but don't think JDF would care about those things as long as the message was the same. Modern society is learning that it really doesn't matter if a Little Mermaid is black or a Power Ranger is white. What matters, is the message.

I believe for the niche you are serving, you are serving them well. This is well beyond the scope of my hobbies or interests but I recognize what you’ve got here as I’ve always been keen on film production. I like how you intentionally broke the fourth wall by displaying the camera when you did a brief sponsor mention. Your quality here in your ability to edit and produce a consistent presentation is evident and we can see you have grown in this skill. As for the subject matter, I do hope the fan base that is into this band finds this video and gives their support - knowing a like and subscribe and appreciative comment will lead to more content on the matter.

Thank you so much for all of that. I think your assessment of my video is an accurate one coming from someone who is not a Super Fan of this music. But my ability to edit effectively and film effectively with a presentation that is compelling cannot be denied. I sometimes wonder if I need to purchase new equipment and upgrade things like my camera for my computer to further my progression. I think one day I will do those things but it's not something that is calling out to me fervently at the moment. I thought for the Future No Doubt though. But yes, thank you again for all your support mang.

I'm so glad you're going vegan!! Just know that it's EASY going vegetarian but going vegan is not an overnight change. 4 years ago, I gave up all meat except chicken, steak, and salmon. Then, steak went, followed by chicken and salmon. Finally, milk, then butter, then eggs. After all that, it becomes a journey to really stay clear of animal byproducts including soup broth, boxed foods, etc. Lately, I've been giving up honey even. I absolutely don't miss eating animals. It's so heartbreaking and disgusting that we grew up manipulated to believe eating meat was a normal, necessary thing. There's so much hypocrisy in that money hungry crazy business. None of those businesses deserve a dime of our money anymore and it's about time our government stops giving billions of our tax dollar welfare to animal cruelty.

P.s. Tofu, avocado, and great protein shakes have been the best substitutes for me. Don't overdo it on any fake meat stuff unless joining friends at a BBQ. Also, keep in mind that it's still important to eat nutritionally in general. I can't say that I feel better or worse since going vegetarian/vegan, but my conscious has never been healthier.
@Instinctual

Yeah I totally agree, time to take a stand for sure! We can really do some good just by changing our diets and feeling better about ourselves and the impact we our having on the world around us. Going vegan for me has been really easy so far and I love how it makes me feel both physically and mentally. I just straight up gave up eating meat entirely one day and I'm at 5 months later and I still have no intention of going back. Thanks for watching and commenting man!

Yeah totally, the negative psychological effects of eating processed and overly fatty or salted foods are undeniable. Generally speaking, you're body will respond better to healthier foods with more nutrients as it's meant to eat those foods and not whatever is advertised from fast food/junk food companies.

Joseph advised Pharaoh to stockpile grain for Egypt predicting seven years of famine. Eventually the crop failures came and everything worked out very well. Not only did Egypt have enough grain to feed it's citizens, but also plenty to trade with neighboring cities and fend off mass starvation. And this is why we pay property taxes today. (Hey, I didn't write this stuff) I am not a vegan myself but will say the praises for plant-based foods as agriculture is the foundation of civilization. And just like the people of the ancient world depended on Egypt for it's grain to get them through hard times, Vegans too depend on Taco Bell. Because ya'll know it would be a lot harder without Taco Bell around. lol

I love that history lesson from the grains of Egypt, falling softly from a person's hand and into the bowl of many an expectant soul. I do like the fact that it brings us back to our roots as well, gathering food and enriching ourselves with the crops of a beautifully fertile land, right on! 🫒🍈🌳And goodness me, I love I can still eat at the Bell as well! Double score!

Your timing on this is pretty fortuitous. I can relate to the layers of stress. Lately I've been a pretty broken person. From 2 years of increasingly toxic environment in my home due to my roommate having a litany of emotional, mental and physical issues. This has led me to break my old habits of expressing my emotion safely, and instead burying it so deep, to avoid hitting any of her triggers. The close quarters of Covid has also given all of us no space apart. The stress built to such a point that we're going our separate ways. Now my partner and I are looking to find a new place, while being tied to a lease on this place delaying when we can move on. I am having trouble letting go, and letting the universe provide, like I did so much in the past. I have this overwhelming need to try to control every aspect of everything., even if it's not in my purview. It has left me feeling like I am failing at every turn. I am trying to find a chance to just regain control, and a little bit of openness that I need to be the best me. I just haven't figured out how.
@Instinctual
@Instinctual 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your story Robert, I can relate in part to what you're going through as I also have had roommate issues in the past and having the feeling of being stuck with them due to covid restrictions and not being able to have the freedom to leave until the lease was up. Ironically it was them who wanted to part ways with me which led me to finding a new place, a new city and a new lease on life. A lot of it for me is just getting through the bad times day by day and making sure you're there and existing in the future when your life turns around and all the stressors and problems start to clear up. Riding the wave down and then back up can be terrifying and humbling but is ultimately a necessary journey back to content and maybe even joy. Identify the steps you need to take whether practically or emotionally to start crafting that path out of the layers of stress and regain your control that way, knowing that you're doing something about how your feeling and taking pride that you are trying to be the best you, one step at a time. Thanks again for reaching out Robert, you are not alone in this and keep me updated on your progress.
