Hi Ray, First time on your channel. Yes, NJ Hi -Railers Train Club is one of my favorite places to visit. My wife and I enjoy seeing the trains and rolling stock running on their great looking train layout. We also enjoy their homemade food. We really enjoy their Christmas train show. We take our Granson to see the layout and he enjoys operating all the trains and accessories. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Wow! What an incredible 'layout'. It is amazing, all the way around. I don't know why I don't get up there when I'm in Atlantic City, over the summer. It is less than two hours from where I stay, so I have no excuses, whatsoever. The tour was great. I like GCT and the WTC, especially. When I saw the Bull Moose, I figured that it was Mike's. I can't even describe what I saw running. It was kind of like when I was a kid and my dad was showing us around the city. I'm more than impressed. Thanks, Ray, for the wonderful tour. As always, an excellent video.

Take it from me, if you're up in AC and there's a High Railer's open house at the same time make the time to get up there for a look! You won't be disappointed, trust me! And their open houses are a neat combination of an operating session and house party!

I'm not suprised Ray missed the World Trade Center, that whole layout is absolutely overwhelming, trust me! It's really a "Can't see the forest for the trees!" situation, if you get my meaning. You 'd need a week just to take in all the detail work.

I visit the store quite often as I live near by. Unfortunately, they don't display .01% of this stock in the store. What hall were they in? I was there on Tuesday for the free shows sI missed them.

@@poconotrainman that’s true alot of the stuff is in the warehouse and the actual storefront is smaller. But they have a great website and everything is on there so if you see something you like Joe always pulls it from the back quickly

The MTH Amtrak 565 engine as most MTH, but not all the battery needs to be a rechargeable 8.4 volt battery, not a regular 9 volt one or a normal rechargeable (7.2 volt). You can fine the batteries on E-bay, under rechargeable 9 volt battery the EBL brand 600 mAh. In the specifications in the description you will find they are being charged with 8.4 volts DC making them a 8.4 volt batteries to me. For me they work in the MTH engines that find it necessary to have a working rechargeable battery.

Very cool, Ray! The best overview of the Vendor's Hall on KZbin. So many good vendors, with something for everybody and every aspect of the hobby. That was certainly a boatload of JT's MegaSteam. Lots of interesting scents, for sure. I hear that it is quite good and Nick recommends it. I've had good luck with MTH ProtoSmoke in my post-war steamers, so I bought bottle of their coffee scented liquid. Along with what I already have, I should be good for the foreseeable future. I just bought some Menard's O72 and O54 curves and completed my third main, this afternoon. It's not tied down or wired yet, but I'll attach it tonight or tomorrow and do some temporary wiring. That way, I can suss it out, before I pull the tracks up and add foam. That should quiet things down, quite a bit. Once again, it was great seeing you and hanging with everyone at the show. It made for a great experience and better show, for sure. An excellent video, as always.
