I reached out to Father's Grooming on Etsy. He also offers un-branded options that can be tailored differently, like more hold. I think I'm going to try that.

I’m very very confused, here I go, I’m new on pomade’s, Clay’s, Fiber’s, for years I used Gel, which now I found out is not good for hair 😔, so now my expectations with above mention products don’t give me the firm hold of Gel and shine, where I live I live very very close to beach extremely humidity and windy omg lots of wind, 20+ miles winds. Is any pomade that will work with high wind and high humidity and be able to hold and shine??? And the other thing I’m confused is the pomade in the video says matte but I see your hair shine. Can you help?? Really appreciate in advanced Gerry

I've been having similar problems with a variety of Blumaan products - I lose volume and hold as the day wears on. I'll definitely try Baxter or one of the clays recommended in your other videos. Thanks.

It is so weird that you say that the formula has been reformulated and now it feels like a lotion. the interesting part is that this is a four year old video and I ordered one last July 2022. It is a new batch, but the thing is that it was hard. It's comes out hard and it has this waxy feeling on hand when I break it down and in the hair as well. Of course, it can't be a 5 year old batch, but it's not like in the lotion form that you have shown us here. What is also surprising is that I can't believe that they reformulated it again to a more firm and waxier feeling product as compared to the one shown in this video, which is obviously in the lotion form.

I use Groom and Clean to get oil/wax based pomades out of my hair. Wash your hair like normal and use Groom and Clean on your hair that day and then the product will come out after one or two days.

hair youtube crashed hard because is such a small niche. word of mouth is a big factor for how a lot of channels grow and most dudes are too insecure to talk about stuff like this because of the stigma. also, since hair product reviews are so subjective and most people only use one product every few months at best, they’re only really useful for very few people.

best review sir! i had no choice to change my daily pomade because o douds pomade stopped producing their multi-purpose pomade due to covid issues. n i was searching for a subsititute, and just found your nice review. after watching the review, i do seem to understand that this one has some similarities with the odouds multi-purpose. so based on your review, do you think this battleborn original pomade can replace the o'douds multi-purpose pomade?

I respect everyone difference preference and opinion if some prefer metal and plastic combs over wood combs and some prefer wood combs over metal and plastic combs and some like both metal, plastic and wood combs and i also respect everyone's difference opinion some trust metal and plastic combs and some people don't trust metal and plastic combs well for me i don't trust metal and plastic combs and brush because combs and brush destroy damaged my hair and it hurts by snagging my hair too it's just not meant for me i know everyone hair is difference not even comb and brush is going to be for everybody that's ok for me i do agree with most opinion that say that the organic wood combs are the best that are better that wooden combs are gentle, healthier and good for our hair that's why my ask my mom and family to get me a wood comb at amazon i'm happy with it because it did not disappointed me but that's good to know that some metal combs do work out well for you.

It works well in my dry, wavy, coarse hair. It just smells too delicious, like butterscotch or something which is slightly too much for me. I also don't have to worry about how it performs in hot weather, chance would be a fine thing. I wonder are there cheaper alternatives that do the same thing, like osmo clay. I think I used that about 10+ years ago
