In order to rightfully divide the word of truth it needs to be done strictly, and singularly from the bible. Especially for those of us who want understanding that relates to the text, not from a denominational point of view. Your argument is weak and denomination bias. Additionally, the church is every like minded believer, who have received Jesus Christ as their lord and Saviour (Christ’s’ body), and is not subjected to the Adventist religion.

Let us all adopt the same rule of interpretation as William Miller. "Those who are engaged in proclaiming the third angel’s message are searching the Scriptures upon the same plan that Father Miller adopted." {RH November 25, 1884, par. 23} #1. “and the millions, of all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the “great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues,” Revelation 7:9, {GC 665.2}. As we look to him and think of him, he will be formed within, the hope of glory. Let us strive with all the power that God has given us to be among the hundred and forty-four thousand. Revelation 7:9-17, {RH March 9, 1905, par. 1-4}. The unnumbered host of the redeemed are the overcomers. {Hvn 181.1} {GC 645.3} #2. The song of God’s providence is sung, connecting the varying dispensations; for all is now seen without a veil between the legal, the prophetical, and the gospel. The cross of Calvary. This is the theme, this is the song,-Christ all and in all. All unite in this song of Moses and of the Lamb. It is a new song, for it was never before sung in heaven. {TM 433.1}. They sing “a new song” before the throne, a song which no man can learn save the hundred and forty and four thousand. None but the hundred and forty-four thousand can learn that song. {GC 648.3}. The redeemed. The ransomed ones singing the song of Moses and the Lamb. {AA 601.2}. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. {18MR 27.3}. That song does not belong to the Jewish people alone. It points forward to the destruction of all the foes of righteousness and the final victory of the Israel of God. {PP 289.1}. all the blood-washed throng... sing the song of Moses and the Lamb. {Lt 3, 1847, par. 2} #3. to number Israel is not to work after God’s order. {TM 202.1}. Christ declared that whosoever will may take of the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17. #4. They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb.” [Revelation 15:2, 3.] This is the same company mentioned by Isaiah, to whom it was promised that they should ride on the high places of the earth, and be fed with the heritage of Jacob their father. Isaiah 58:13,14 & Revelation 15:2,3 (Ms48-1900) #5. Their names are retained in the Lamb’s book of life, enrolled among the faithful of all ages. The same company mentioned, Isaiah 4:2,3 & Zechariah 3:4,5,8 & Revelation 14:4,5. {PK 591.1 - PK 592.1} #6. “Holiness is constant agreement with God” {Ms 61, 1903, par. 8}. The godly character of this prophet (Enoch) represents the state of holiness which must be attained by those who shall be “redeemed from the earth” (Revelation 14:3) at the time of Christ’s second advent. {PP 88.3}. #7. Here are some examples of how the testimony of Jesus uses "the number". The word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. {AA 89.3}. In keeping with our faith. Are we of the number {CG 423.3}. We are standing before God on test and trial to see if we can individually be trusted to be of the number of the family who shall compose the redeemed in heaven. {CE 145.1}. As the result of the camp meeting and the gathering-in work, about forty believers and others are being added to the number. {Lt38-1899}. #9. Revelation 14:1-5. They are of that number. Matthew 25:21,34. {AA 590.4 - 591.2} #10. Christ is the first-fruits of that immortal harvest of redeemed ones that at the future resurrection shall be gathered into the garner of God. {GC88 399.2}. At the harvest and the vintage, the first fruits of the field. Were consecrated as an offering to the Lord. Set apart for God. {AA 336.3} The conversion of Cornelius and his household was but the first fruits of a harvest to be gathered in. {AA 139.3}. #11. I saw that she [Mrs. Hastings] was sealed and would come up at the voice of God and stand upon the earth, and would be with the 144,000. {14MR 53.1}. Then I was taken to a world which had seven moons. There I saw good old Enoch, who had been translated. If you are [Ellen White] faithful, you, with the 144,000, shall have the privilege of visiting all the worlds and viewing the handiwork of God. {EW 39.3}. The 1260 years is not two periods The periods here mentioned--"forty and two months," and "a thousand two hundred and threescore days"--are the same, alike representing the time in which the church of Christ was to suffer oppression from Rome. The 1260 years of papal supremacy began in A.D. 538 and would therefore terminate in 1798. At that time a French army entered Rome and made the pope a prisoner, and he died in exile. Though a new pope was soon afterward elected, the papal hierarchy has never since been able to wield the power which it before possessed.” -The Great Controversy, p. 266.

Pastor Bohr, you're teaching error in this sermon. You said - “Immediately after that verse in verse 15 we find the setting up of the abomination of desolation which we have interpreted by our study as a National Sunday law” This is error. Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) What is Jesus trying to say? There are a lot of people that won’t understand. He points to Daniel 9:27. He uses this as the answer to the question of the disciples. Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. The consummation that is determined, that day only the Father knows. He is speaking as a man as Jesus knows as the Father knows now. We are seeking this very same answer that was given to the disciples which they poorly understood. The abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet is applied when the Roman army stood in the holy place, the immediate precincts of the city. In Daniel you will identify this as a very broad-ranging statement because the terminology embracing the Roman empire both in its pagan, which is called daily desolation and papal which is called abomination of desolation. He embraces the two of them in one statement: Jesus makes here a fleeting statement that covers the entire desolating influences of what transpired under Rome and then to the end of the world - a terrible time of trouble that commenced from the time that Jesus finished His work here on earth as the Messiah and went back to heaven to do His work. There is a period of desolation that takes place. After the Romans desolated the Jews, what does it say? When Jesus talked about the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, this is what he was referring to: Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolator [margin]. This sweeping statement takes us from the time of Jesus, when He had warned them that Jerusalem would be destroyed by the desolations of Rome, to the final desolations of the very Romans themselves. Jesus said to the apostles, I have told you before that when it comes to pass you know it is I. What will happen to the desolator? It would be desolated. Daniel 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy [it] unto the end. In the study of Daniel 7 it is at the position of the Roman Empire having changed hands to become the papal Roman Empire. As Rome was pillaged and destroyed and changed hands to papal Rome, it says that ultimately, during the judgement, at the end, his dominion is to be consumed and destroyed unto the end. I have looked into it and found that Sister White did not endorse the 2520 chart, rather it was about the 2300 chart instead, hence the reason she has never alluded to it in her writings and sermons. So, I studied Leviticus 26; and, by studying it, I found that there is no time prophecy at all in this chapter, but it is rather about the intensity and severity of their punishment, and not time prophecy. I looked up Leviticus 26:18, 21, 24, and 28 in the Hebrew - English Interlinear translation and I found that it is rendered "sevenfold", and not "seven times". Then the Lord impressed me to read these verses in the Hungarian Bible, and lo and behold, it reads "sevenfold", and not "seven times". The same rendering I find in the French and Romanian Bibles, (since I speak these languages). But then I did more research and found that "seven times" in English could also mean "sevenfold", (which you know better than I do); for example, we can say, "once", or "twice", or "thrice", or "four times", or "five times", etc., which simply means how many fold, three or four times more or more severe; for example, "... I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins." (v. 21). Then I dived into it deeper and found the following, I quote, "I make this point because we cannot say everything that our pioneers believed in 1844 was truth, or made up our pillars/landmarks. Notice: At that time [after the 1844 disappointment] one error after another pressed in upon us; ministers and doctors brought in new doctrines. We would search the Scriptures with much prayer, and the Holy Spirit would bring the truth to our minds. Sometimes whole nights would be devoted to searching the Scriptures and earnestly asking God for guidance. Companies of devoted [BEGIN P.32] men and women assembled for this purpose. The power of God would come upon me, and I was enabled clearly to define what is truth and what is error." {3SM 31.4} "As the points of our faith were thus established, our feet were placed upon a solid foundation. We accepted the truth point by point, under the demonstration of the Holy Spirit. I would be taken off in vision, and explanations would be given me. I was given illustrations of heavenly things, and of the sanctuary, so that we were placed where light was shining on us in clear, distinct rays."-Gospel Works, p. 302. {3SM 32.1} "We cannot hold that a position once taken, an idea once advocated, is not, under any circumstances, to be relinquished. There is but One who is infallible-He who is the way, the truth, and the life." {TM 105.2} So not all our truths were fully established in 1844, but it was a progressive understanding of truths already embraced as well as falsehoods relinquished by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. But there is more: "The prophetic period of Lev. xxvi, or what has been supposed to be such, has been no small object of study among prophetical expositors. It has been supposed that the expression, “seven times,” in verses 18, 21, 24, 28, denoted a prophetic period of 2520 years, and that this period covered the time during which the throne of Israel should be and remain subverted and trodden down by oppressing powers. To rightly fix the commencement and termination of this period, became therefore a matter of consequence. Where does it commence? and where does it end? have been questions of much study, and perhaps some perplexity." {January 26, 1864 JWe, ARSH 68.1} "These are not the questions, however, that we propose here to discuss; for there is a question lying back of these, which demands to be answered first; namely, Is there any prophetic period brought to view at all in Lev. xxvi? Now what is meant by this repeated expression of seven times? We reply, it denotes, not the duration of the punishment, but its intensity and severity. The Septuagint has in Lev. xxvi, heptakis, which is an adverb, signifying seven times. These, I have frequently seen, were the principal subjects on which the messengers should dwell." {EW 63.2} So, no! Leviticus 26:18, 21, 24 and 28 is not a time prophecy at all.
