Nice vids Andrew. Can I ask, do the N Box models have Bluetooth connectivity / multi media systems ?
@Andrewsjapanesecars19 күн бұрын
Thank you! Some do and some don't - it's a feature of the head unit rather than the car itself, so it depends on which head unit has been fitted. Most have bluetooth phone connectivity and the majority also have bluetooth audio. But this age of NBox generally doesn't come from Japan with Apple carplay or Android auto. It is of course possible to add it afterwards by changing the head unit.

Always like the N-Box, the last one that was a turbo and had cruise control would be the one I would go far, it's the top seller in Japan and is just so practical 👍
@fredscratchet1355Ай бұрын
What would this do to the gallon?
@AndrewsjapanesecarsАй бұрын
I think you'd get around 40-50 mpg, depending on how much you used the turbo! I've had 57 mpg from the naturally aspirated version.
That must be frustrating, especially as you probably use more fuel with the 4WD too. I had a look at the specs for this model and I can see the 2WD has a 35 litre tank but the 4WD only has 30 litres.

Very good price for a low millage Kei truck ..if i had the money I would have it now !!!

Interested but parts have always been a worrier for me here, are these an issue?
@Andrewsjapanesecars7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your question. There's no getting away from the fact that sourcing parts isn't as simple as it would be for e.g. a UK market Honda Jazz or Civic. However, it's also not as difficult as many people fear. These are very popular cars in Japan so parts are readily available there. The main issue is shipping cost and the time that shipping takes. I guess this is one of the trade offs with owning a different / rare / unusual car. I can assist with sourcing parts from Japan if required.

Great video, thank you. Great to see a UK based video so and you answered so many of my questions. I love the idea of one of these but struggling to sell the Mrs on it, but to me it makes sense to me as the daily car as almost all trips are getting the young kids to school/nursery and going shopping, all of which are within 1 mile, so a little turbo petrol is the future as far as I am concerned. Also with that sliding door, we'd be able to get both kids in from the same side which would be great for us as we have a narrow drive. Are you able to say what these are like emissions wise as more towns are getting euro 6 zones. Would this meet that? or even euro 5? Thank you for the great video
@Andrewsjapanesecars Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment and I'm pleased to hear you're a fan, hope you manage to get approval for the purchase! The Japanese emissions standards look quite similar to Euro 5, but I don't think these cars have never been tested against Euro emissions standards. What I can say is that they are ULEZ compliant, if that helps.

@@Andrewsjapanesecars thank you so much. I really want an N Box, I'm a Honda fan, what are they like on UK roads, and hills? I'm.quite realistic in my expectations, but just wondering. I'm hoping it'd fit me and the Mrs in the front, enough room to be able to get both kids in from one side and have the pram stood up in boot if I fit some straps in there
@Andrewsjapanesecars Жыл бұрын
I think they're pretty good on UK roads and fine with hills. There are some pretty steep roads in Japan. Clearly they are never going to be a fast vehicle, but they pick up speed surprisingly well for such a small engine. They don't like to be pushed hard round corners, but you could probably work that out by looking at the body shape! I think a pram would fit in the boot but there are quite a variety of sizes so it would be best to do a test fit before committing!
@stretchie Жыл бұрын
I am trying to convince the Mrs that this is what we need as a second car, well, main car really. One of these as a daily driver with the kid seats in as all we do is go shops or take kids to nursery and it's all within a mile, then we already have a diesel estate which would be the going to work car or transfer the kid seats to that one for the big trips where we need to take a lot of stuff. Could I ask how much this went for? I have no idea if I'm looking at £5 or 15k, and that's a big part of the decision but I can't find any with real, recent uk prices as a guide. Thanks

Great Video thank you. I love this car. I asked me how many N-Box u can find in Europe. I dont know anyone who have one. But i think in GB you can find more japanese vehicles because of the right steering wheel. I dont think we have a N-Box on german streets. What i missed in you review is the question is it possible to move the backseats to get mehr trunk space . you said the sound system is nice but i cant see tweeter.
@Andrewsjapanesecars Жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for your comment and questions. I'm glad you're a fan of the N-Box! I've never seen another one on the road in the UK but I know there are others here because of questions/comments I've received on my website. I don't know about numbers across Europe, but as you say the steering wheel being on the 'wrong' side for Europe probably wouldn't help. About the seats, the back of the rear seats has 2 positions, reclined and upright, but the rear seats cannot be slid forwards/backwards to adjust the trunk space. There weren't separate tweeters. It isn't a 'premium' sound system, but the sound quality was a lot better than I expected.
