So I test drove the GT350 and an SS. I currently own the SS. Tje GT350 has no torque and to me the party didn't get started until you were at 4K RPM and up. Off the line the LT1 destroys it. Higher in the RPM or a roll race yes the GT350 has the advantage on a STOCK LT1. Put long tubes and an intake that LT1 and you have an absolute nightmare for a GT350 IMO for a whole lot less money. That LT1 has a lot more in the tank if you allow it to breathe.

One interesting fact about Vette speedometers is, from 0 to 100 mph, they a marked in increments of 10 mph and the PCM moves the needle accordingly. From 100 mph to 200 mph, they are still marked with the same spacing, however, it's in increments of 20 mph, and so the PCM moves the needle 1/2 as fast. This fact makes the 100 - 190 mph even more impressive when you consider the needle appears to slow down considerably after 100mph, but he's really accelerating quickly!

I raced a corvette on my cbr when i was a teenager... I had never been beaten by a car before. I pulled up next to him and revved at the guy, and when he revved back. I knew i was in trouble, haha. We stayed together until around 120 and then he walked me. It was soo wild. Ive been obsessed with vettes since then. Such incredible cars. The only car I would want to drive as much as my bike.
