I'm just getting back into gaslands after a couple years not playing. What's the new evasion rules?
@cclarke6820 сағат бұрын
There are a couple sets of 'experimental' rules, that make the game even better, IMHO. New Evasion Rules and new Wipeout Rules. Here are the links to the pdf files on the Planet Smasher website: planetsmashergames.com/gaslands-blog/rd-evades/ planetsmashergames.com/gaslands-blog/rd-wipeouts/ :) C

Okay, it's been too long since I've visited your channel. Holy cow, that was great! Not only the course and the builds (and the stop-motion/AI recap), but the way you break down the game, cut to the status cards, and help those of us new to the game to understand it in much better detail. Really fun watch!

Played car wars back in the day and was looking to get into some tabletop stuff and my local shop posted the rule book for gaslands refueled and I’m very intrigued. Never painted miniatures so not sure where to start. If you have any tips for me I’d appreciate it! Hope to pick book up next week and have buddy making my first bits on his 3d printer

I am really happy you’re getting into Gaslands! It’s a great game. Gaslands is more forgiving that other types of miniature painting. Less precise and more grunge and rust! :)

Top notch, mate. I'll use your decal technique next time for my terrain. I made the mistake of putting some decals with clear backing on my shipping containers, and you really can't see the decals very well at all. Your car wash turned out to be a nice set piece for the tabletop.

Oh, man. These two turned out so well! I like how you used the open cell foam to dab on the rust oxide. I have a question: after you apply your decals, do you hit your builds with a matte varnish? On my own builds, I've noticed that this can protect the decals from weathering, especially panel lining. Sometimes, the panel liner can get under the decal and darken the edge, clearly showing the cut-out lines of the transfer paper. Fantastic cars, here. Your buyer in Australia is going to be very pleased.
@cclarke6827 күн бұрын
Thanks! I use Micro Set for the decals and then, once it is dry, I coat them with Stormshield from Citadel. :)
