Used to seek and gather Groundsel for my relative's canaries, which loved it. No such thing as a weed, just unwanted plants in some places. Groundsel will have other uses for eg. insects or other birds, but is toxic to mammals inc. humans.

I cut my goldenrod back because after it bloomed, the long stem was dying from top to bottom, so I trimmed it and it has not grown a long stem to bloom since. Any suggestions on how to get it to bloom again?

Hello, I'm Chaeeun Lee and I work for a company called SPOTV in South Korea. We're producing a program called SPOTIME MOTORSPORTS, and we're going to cover a video about Uruguay's El Pinar. Since Elpinar means pine, we need a video about pine trees, While looking for a related video, I contacted you because I thought the above video was suitable. If you don't mind, is it okay to use the video for free after marking the source as ' BYUI Applied Plant Science Department'? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

@@Moonlight-u3e1k hmm thinking of passing on the poaceae altogether right now, and this really is apocolyptic famine food when there is nothing else about. Thankfully there are many other plants than can supply many more nutriants. So I think I will leave this on the livestock list.

It makes a great pain tincture for Arthritis, good to sit in the water you can brew from the plant, it stops the bleeding and pain of hemorrhoids, the entire plant is edible, but I would only eat it in survival mode, but it’s stalk is good source of water need, stalk contains fiber, it’s got all kinds of uses.
