So I guess the better question is , if you have guns why even ask this question. Someone breaks in to your home you going to tell them hey this is not Mexico and expect them to leave?

230 gr Berry's Hybrid Hollow Point. The load works well in my Colt 1911 Commander and Sprinfield XDS.

@ReloadingQuest , I have it loaded to the same specs as the Speer Gold Dot SB load due to the XDS as a compact. It performs well and much like the Gold Dot sd rounds from the factory. Haven't found a need to look at lighter bullets, although I do cast my own 215 gr HP that I powde coat and generally use for practice.

I’ll be watching it on the phone to see when it’s gonna arrive looking for my wife seeing where she’s at hiding out front trying to ambush the guy. Trying to sneak in the house without anybody hearing me. Getting caught and having to explain myself. Having no good explanation. lol yeah, we’ve all been there.

As I’m acquiring and building my reloading setup I’m pretty set on the Forster, now you’re showing me a press that’s $875, I hate you gun tube guys….. But not really. 😂

@@IR8GRANDSRT8 haha it’s a vary nice press but not necessarily the best for beginners. But I world buy it over a Forster personally. Maybe wait for a sale?

@@ReloadingQuest maybe, I go in too many directions at once. I currently have a Dillon 550c that I intend to use for 9mm, .556, .300 black and am almost complete on components to begin with it. I want a single stage press for my rifle hunting loads though. When you’re buying rifles, scopes, ammo, bipod’s, and reloading shit while all the wife and kids needs it’s a process! I’ll get there, little by little! 🤣

@@IR8GRANDSRT8 the Dillon is a great press. U can get away with great ammo without having to spend 900 on a press. The Hornady Iron press has given me great results!

@@ReloadingQuestI hate buying twice, I’m definitely in the buy once cry once camp and I always want to upgrade sooner than later, I think the Forster is a good starting point for quality and long term usage before looking to upgrade.

Not sure of those anymore. I just used the comparator. My 22 Creed likes shoulders bumped back .05 from Saami spec. I check every case I'm weird like that, but I'm not constantly reloading so I don't mind.

I do really like the Hornady dies. I use their universal decapper an bullet puller for the press to they both work real well

What you are actually seeing is how much weaker the PPU ammo is than both the Mil Surp & the S&B. If you had not zeroed your rifle with the PPU that would be apparent.

Nice looking rifle! I ended up building a 300 PRC. My handloads with N570, ADG brass and Berger 215 Hybrids are clocking in at 2930 fps. There's still quite a bit of speed left but I see no need to push it. Used it last season to harvest an elk and antelope. That 7PRC looks amazing though. Thanks for sharing!
