Barrel is silly. Extra expensive yet provides nothing that a standard carbon barrel gives you. Just another way to charge you more while not giving you any more.

When a kernel of varget is 0.02 grains a scale that is plus or minus 0.04 does not seem that great.

I just purchased this Outlier Chassis system and a barrel in December, the barrel has not arrived, they are made to order and is still being made as of January 26th. The Chassis is great, it fit my Tikka T3x action like a glove. The magazine release is ambidextrous and works perfect with AICS style magazines. The hand guard is a U channel opened at the end, this hand guard vibrates as it lacks the rigidity on the front, I will add a piece of aluminum to give the frond end rigidity, the hand guard comes with a built in Arca Swiss style on the bottom of the guard which works with an RSS Dovetail style bipod, I put an MDT GRN bipod. The edges on the bottom and the top need to be rounded as they are very sharp and could potentially cut your hand when grabbing the rifle by the handguard including the front of the Chassis, I filed mine. The stock is sturdy but the cheek piece is too small and feels awkward on your face, I am looking for a replacement from someone else as all the solutions form Outfitter have a very small cheek piece. Overall this system is a great value for half the price of an MDT equivalent Chassis of which I own two but paid a whole lot more for.

A 35 Whelen is one of those cartridges that doesn't get the admiration or respect it deserves. 500 yd and in It gives you magnum performance without the recoil. And it's Reloading availability is off the charts.

I’ve big game hunted almost exclusively for the last 21 yrs with a browning A bolt II medallion 7mm wsm with a Boyd’s prairie hunter stock. If a factory load has been made I’ve shot it and prob shot an animal with it for the 7mm wsm. The power point will group around 1 moa maybe .75 moa on a good day. Want a good deer bullet 140 ballistic silver tip will print a 3 shot group from my rifle through the same hole at 100 yrds if you can find it and I’ve never had a big whitetail buck go more than 30 yrds (I have 6 boxes left) 160 xp3 is phenomenal on elk (down to 2 boxes discontinued) 162 eld x from choice ammunition is tack driver. Im glad I hoarded 7mm wsm ammo. Im around 1000 rounds still on hand. If released today the 7mm wsm would set the world on fire its that good. Better than the 6.5 prc snd 6.8 western and hangs with the 7prc but in a short action That model 70 is identical to my 300 wsm model 70 sporter but mines left hand (rare)

22 arc really is only good for ar platforms. Much better options for bolt guns. 22 creedmoore is good but since companies are building rifles with high twist in the 22-250 the creedmoore doesn’t set the world on fire. 22-250 can do everything the 22 creed does with a 1-8/1-7 twist
