He definitely does, if you listen carefully you can hear the original track playing in the back which means he's playing at the exact same tempo as the recording. Most drummers now play with clicks live, i kinda think it's foolish of you if you don't.

Actually Jake doesn't write the drum tracks, Kellen does, the guitarist. He has written all the music sense sleep walking, threw The Hollow and Challenger lol. But Jake has still got to me on of my favorite drummers ever!! haha
