Outback was my 1st ever race at 41yrs old. I made the mistake of thinking it was going to be easier than it was. That sand kicked my butt and may have made it my last race. Very discouraging 😞

At 57 I enjoy setting goals trying to meet them each season. Enjoy racing Hare scrambles with all different people and skill levels. I love rush of adrenaline as you start race and I'm competition junkie (LOL I really enjoy meeting people with same passions) I just started watching your videos really enjoyed them especially wild boar on slow riders you should have add in rides all over trial I was one of them

I suppose Fast is a relative term. I feel like I'm going fast until I get passes like I'm sitting still.

That would be awesome to Sprint Enduro all year. Hopefully they can work on that. Can't wait for the GTR race hopefully we'll see you there.

Does Seng Garden come out on the "Guard rail trail" and thats the part where your vid cut out?
@50plusrider642 жыл бұрын
It comes out near there. Take the road over to guard rail. Easy to connect.

👏 hopefully we will see the full gas series learn to work with the other series. It would be rad to have a year long of sprint enduro racing vs scheduling on the same weekends.

Glad you enjoyed OutBack.I live 5min. from there and have been riding it since it opened in 09.Myself and some buddies cut in a lot of the trails.Don't know if you saw the plaque in the woods or not,but one of our guys ashes were spread in there.I agree with you,hope both series can coexist with each other.
@50plusrider642 жыл бұрын
That sounds like the kind of place where I would want my ashes buried. That was my first time at Outback. I'd love to come back and explore more of the park.

We just need to do another Schlotzsky’s food run like we did on that last trip and I’m sure that will improve the video footage by a lot.
@Johnr37us3 жыл бұрын
Hey Rusty why don’t you get us one of these. With the way I ride I will be back in the back part of that thing 90% of the time.

Thanks for the info, i have ran some Enduro's but did not understand how they work. I still don't understand the route's from section to section I just follow everyone and hope I'm right.

I didn’t go because I thought it would be too wet and cold. Liked the tree part...did the same there 2019 and broke my foot in 3 places🙄
@50plusrider643 жыл бұрын
Ouch. It was cold. The sections on the road, connecting the trails were no fun. I'm glad I had my Enduro Jacket and leather gloves.

Nice riding sir! It's difficult to see in the video. Through the tight stuff are you sitting or standing?
@50plusrider643 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I'm hoping to get better with my videos. I sure would love to go for the GoPro 9. Siting or Standing: I would like to say standing, but it's both. I try to be standing as much as possible as it is the best technique. My time will be faster the more I stand, but I have a tendency to get lazy, especially in a long Enduro. Good question!

Nice riding! Are you on a 350?

Thank you for the positive review. Our group Appalachian Singletrack Riders was created to maintain and promote the singletrack trails at Doe Mountain and the surrounding area. We have an ambassador program there that people can join if they would like to help maintain trails, or chack passes and ride safety patrol. We want everyone to feel safe while they ride, while having fun. We host a race there called the Sasquatch Hard Enduro Chalange that is becoming very popular. There is some good videos of the Sasquatch races on KZbin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZvFlJWXaMZ9jNU
