Guess I am 6 years late on this review....lol I love my Challenger Scat Pack with the ZF 8 speed. Nothing bad to say about it. They are still competitive at the dragstrip, and on the street. Check out Scavenger 1320 Channel, Chris has won Championships with his Challenger 392, with stock tune. If you want a Track Car, then get a Track Car...lol Challengers are dragracers.

I know this is from a while ago, but for anyone watching this now, you can make your custom mode the same settings as sport mode and double pushing the drive modes button will set you to that custom mode.

This video is 5ys old but I just saw it. I own a 2020 Scatpack Widebody. FYI the Scatpack is an R/T. It is a member of the R/T family. The Scatpacks began with the 1967 Dodge Dart GTS. The second year added, get this the 1968 Dodge Charger what? R/T and the Dodge Coronet R/T. The Challenger Scatpack was built because Dodge built the 5.7 R/T and the 6.4 SRT8-SRT and buyers wanted a 6.4L 392 without the SRT electronics. Dodge listened and built a R/T with the 6.4L, and named it the Scatpack. But then they built the widebody which has the SRT electronic suspension, etc.

I had 315’s on my 9 1/2 inch stock rims then I got 11 inch hellcat redeye rims and put 315’s in the back and 305 up front

What I really hated about mine was the dam skip shift on the manual transmission. I recently bought the skip shift eliminator and no more issues

The Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pack with 6.4L HEMI V-8 specs are 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. The Challenger Scat Pack on the dyno tested at 331 whp (to the wheels) and 421 lb-ft of torque

Great post. I had the outlaw long installed and kept the rear baffles to mitigate the Friné but I didn’t get the sound I was looking for. How much drone do you get with the outlaws with the rear baffles removed? jr

You’re not using the options correctly. There is no reason to lose your scat pack options.

Scat Packs are R/Ts... SRT is Hellcat and above.

You don't need strut bars for roll, you need sport sway bars

You may beat the Stangs in your area but you are not faster than a Stang, especially with that manual tranny. If you can put that power to the ground you may win the 60 foot or 8th mile but drivers being equal, the Stang takes the Quarter. I know, I own both in stock configuration. Only difference is my Scat is auto and Stang is manual. Good video though. Keep up the good work.
