Im looking for some replacement auger seals for the front. Any helpful advice?

Picked up that little ninja for testing mixes for my rental business. Super cool little unit but I believe the auger rpm really throws off the consistency. Lots of foaming issues the thing will really beat some air into your mix .

Apologies for covering up the label! It is, yes. It is a 24% ABV liqueur. I used the brand De Kuyper in this recipe. Cheers and thanks for asking, Eric.

was looking for a new rye to try, and the labelling gave me a chuckle in a good way. i never did have the regular one but the high rye with a 30% rye mix in the mash is pretty decent. its light but has a bit of spice and burn that comes with rye bourbons, but its great with some water or even as a high ball with soda. thanks for the vid.

For ryes, if you can find them, I'd suggest James E. Pepper and their Finest Oak Series or Smoke Wagon Rye. Those are both dynamite options for us serious rye fans.

hi i need help i just bought the same slushy machine and it won’t freeze
@MultiCasking7 күн бұрын
First of all, Michelle, welcome to the Slushy Family! Let's get that machine slushin'. The top three reasons slushy machines like our Vevor X-300 don't freeze properly are: *Temperature settings:* Make sure the temperature is low enough. I recommend starting at -7 and lowering it if needed. The max cold setting on this machine is -9.0. *Water content*: If the mix is too thick, it may not freeze properly. Try adding a bit more water to your recipe. *Air circulation*: If the machine is placed too close to walls or other obstructions, it can overheat. Make sure it has enough space for proper airflow so the motor can do its job. Let me know if this helps, and we'll get you slushin' in no time!

Why is the numbers on my machine keep flashing ? What do I need to do to make it stop flashing or is it supposed to be flashing ?
@MultiCasking7 күн бұрын
Great question, Noah. If there are flashing, you need to add sugar to the recipe. The Vevor X-300 is designed to mix recipes with at least 13% sugar. Anything less than that and it will flash at ya. Honestly though, I have had tons of recipes turn out perfectly while it sits there and flashes at me lol! I use my Brix machine to tell me sugar levels when all else fails though. Here is the one we use: amzn.to/4f1cEsH

@MultiCasking17 күн бұрын
I think you are talking about the rod that goes inside the chilling arm. If so, sort of, Maria. Mine does not come out so I don't have to clean it. I do clean the few inches that are exposed and everything the liquid touches. I hear about 30% of the machines have the rods come out of them. It's not supposed to do that but it really doesn't adversely effect it when it's on.

Have you ever made this sangria slushy with any other hard liquor other than brandy? i.e. rum, vodka, tequila
@MultiCasking18 күн бұрын
Thanks for the question, Sandy! Traditionally, sangria is made with wine as the base, but there’s definitely room to get creative. You could absolutely try making a slushy version with rum, vodka, or tequila for a unique twist. Technically, it wouldn’t be called a sangria at that point, but when you invent new drinks, you also get to invent new names, which is always fun! I haven’t experimented with it yet, but you’ve got me thinking it could be a great future episode idea. Stay tuned, and I might just give it a try. Cheers!

Hello, can the machine be refilled with more liquid as it runs out and still make slush? I use it for alcoholic drinks and usually get the ideal consistency at -8.5 degrees Celsius. Thanks.
@MultiCasking26 күн бұрын
Great question, Pedroeal. Yes you can! I just did it moments ago in fact. Just be mindful of the brix. Getting too much water in will cause freezing around the chilling arm. But that is easily fixed by adding a touch more alcohol to it! Cheers.

How long can you keep your slushy drinks in cold drink mode and then freeze again? I would like to see some vodka drink recipes too.
@MultiCaskingАй бұрын
My X-300, the machine seen in this video, can hold them indefinitely! At night, I place the machine on "Cold Drink" mode with a setting of 4.0. Then, when I hit the "Slushy" button it takes 15 - 20 mins for a proper slushy to be had! For me, I like rum as it never has a noticeable change to the slushy where as vodka can sometimes be noted in the flavor but if you want a vodka drink, I'll crank one out for ya!
@Mindfulwake6526 күн бұрын
I just got my x-300 and mixed my first batch of pina colada and strawberry daiquiri for a Miami Vice. I put it on cold drink mode as you said when not using but when I dumped the remaining at a week it had mold on all of the seals. Mine develops a lot of ice on the outside of the tanks when running in slushy mode too and then it starts to lose its consistency. Do you think I have a temperature problem with my machine? I love slushies and can’t wait to try some new recipes. Haven’t tried the Margarita Man ones yet. Looks like the free shipping is working now . I just need to make it through some of the mixes I already had ordered first with the machine. I’m a Vodka fan so I would love to see some recipes with it as well as some more homemade recipes you recommend trying. I was like a kid on Christmas morning when my machine arrived!
@MultiCasking26 күн бұрын
@@Mindfulwake65 Whipping up that Miami Vice combo for your first batch? You're definitely starting off strong! As for the mold situation, fear not-it might not be mold at all. The gaskets on the machine use food-grade lubricant that can turn dark brown or black after some use. It’s totally normal, but you’ll definitely want to give everything a good clean just to be sure. If you’ve been cleaning it between uses and keeping it cold or frozen, you should be in the clear. So, deep breaths-no need to go on a mold-busting spree just yet! I also feel your pain with the frost issue-my machine does the same thing! It frosts over and then starts melting the slushy, messing with the consistency. I’ve been experimenting with different ways to combat this, but I haven’t quite found the perfect fix just yet. Rest assured, I’m on it, and I’ll be sure to share any tips once I nail down the right combo. Oh, and I’m loving that you're a vodka fan! I’ve got some killer recipes with vodka coming your way soon, and I can’t wait for you to try some of the Margarita Man mixes when you’re ready. Sounds like free shipping is back on, so when you’re ready to restock, you'll be all set! Happy slushing!

@Obesi-DАй бұрын
What would be the ratio if all i want is vanilla icecream?
@MultiCaskingАй бұрын
Great question, Obesi! The ratio really depends on your machine's capacity. My machine holds 4 gallons, so I use both bottles of mix with the full recipe. If you're looking for just vanilla, you’d simply use another bottle of Vanilla. Here’s what that would look like: Slushy Full Recipe (for a 4-gallon machine): 2 bottles (1 gallon) Margarita Man Vanilla Soft Serve mix 1.5 gallons of water Optional: 2 liters of alcohol 50% Reduction (for smaller machines): 1 bottle (½ gallon) Margarita Man Vanilla Soft Serve mix 0.75 gallons of water Optional: 1 liter of alcohol Adjust as needed for your specific machine! I hope this helps! Let me know if this answered your question!
