That steering lock unit under the steering wheel seems to be a problem with the Audi i cut the black and red wire on mine when first bought it my question is that unit goes faulty and no start this is the aluminum unit that is just under the steering wheel and has two plugs going into it one on each side can you just plug another unit alongside the original unit and the car will then turn on and work properly and start this seems a easier way to get you home fix until the original unit can be fixed with new relays and switch or are these units coded to the car and will not work i bought a second hand unit on eBay just in case but never needed it if not coded this is a quick temporarily fix to get you home thanks for your great video and the time you take to make them
