This video may have aged, but wow - this is the best streamer video [series] I have ever watched. And I watch just about every Galloup video & many more. Hope to see more from you. More Taneycomo-specific streamer videos on the water would be awesome!!

Methinks that's a mosquito larva (Culicidae) due to the long breathing tube at the end and the big bulky thorax. Just the aquatic one though, in the first minute of the video.

Good to see you back. It’s been a couple of years since we brought the family up for some great fishing. Maybe we’ll see you this year, but not in January like last time. Jack

I hear ya there!! I'm glad to be back! Just got into a funk because I wasn't happy with the old site and didn't want to put any work into it. Plus, I've been focusing all my attention on the fly side of the business. Now it's all meshing together and I'm ready for the next growth and chapter of 2020! Looking forward to fishing again!

Fishing with salmon eggs (not an artificial fly) is NOT considered fly fishing.

Dr. Dead Drift Hareline sells it. They have several colors to choose from. Ask your local fly shop to order your some if they don't carry it. Happy tying...😁

this video is VERY miseading. I fish streamers everyday and 90 percent of my big fish are hooked on the rear hook (articulated) never the front. fish will chase the fly and eat from the rear on more occasions then eat from the head.

Though it was a nice talk you spoke to most of your audience as they were newbies and I doubt it was the case...Using big gap hooks for streamers is not new nor was it new when you published this video... Hope you will be at this years Sow Bug Round up as I would like to listen to your presentation....Thanks! Ken

+Ken Martin yeah during spawn time they swim back up to the dam where they are milked. Though unlike a trout park they actualy eat the normal foods for fish.
@FlysandGuides
@FlysandGuides 8 жыл бұрын
+Ken Martin No they are not. Stockers that eat scud's like candy and get that color. The White River in Arkansas do have brown's that can reproduce. They're some trout down there that could eat your leg off!!

I know that...Some Friends who attend the yearly Sow Bug Fly Tying show have fished a few days while there. They said the number and quality of trout per mile is insane... I will be attending this year and plan on fishing for a week...Hope to experience this wonderful trout water.

It's called a stealthcraft. They are out of Michigan. His name is Mike Batcke. He's a good friend of mine and will set you up with any type of boat you need. If you check out my latest videos you'll see the new one he just built for me. I think he is raising the bar for better built and sexy drift boats. www.stealthcraftboats.com

What a great time on the river. The fishing was really good and the company even better. I'll be back soon to snag the two hogs I didn't land. Thanks to you, your buddy and Lisa for taking the time to put together the excellent video. I can't wait to do it all over again. I highly recommend anyone reading this to book a trip with Jeremy regardless of your skill level. Don't miss out on the fish of a life time, great company and valuable skills... Good times mate....

Streamer fishing has really picked up on this river. I don't know if it is the month because in the past I've tried it several times with little results. I guess you have to keep going out and keep coming back for more....and that's what I did, but this time the browns are coorporating. Water flucuation is bad, but steady flow is key I think to any of these tailwaters we have here in the Ozarks. Should have many more vids on big browns we have here in the Ozark's.

Ben, it wasn't easy my friend. I've been fishing this spot for over 15 years now and figured out of the years on how to get the spooky ones. I spent about 16 hours total in a 4 day period on this fish. This day it was different and I knew I get could a shot at him if I made the perfect cast on the first cast and that is exactly what I had to do on this guy. Alot of patience and this is where I have total appreciation for these trout and the reward is worth every bit of it!
