I bought it all on Ebay from lci models. You only need to buy the mid console from the Mini dealer as the radio button in the middle no longer exists on the black models

From a seller in Germany but came from Aliexpress. Screen died after 2 weeks and heard from more people having similar problems. DON’t buy it!

Did your mini come with the black climate control unit , mine is silver and I can’t find one exactly like yours , most of them are missing a fog light or have the heated seat button

No, mine was silver also (pre-lci) and I bought black 2nd hand lci units and installed them. Took a lot of searching on Ebay hart.synology.me/ebay/heater.jpeg

AUx already worked in mine. What year is your Mini? Aux wasn’t supported untill 2003. I do not have a BT microphone

@@nikreh5240 Yes I do and it works fine. Just don't have the USB connector, only AUX in. Can you select AUX when pushing the MODE button?

For factory everything these sound immense, lovely extra induction noise with that filter too! Great little cars, they handle ridiculously well!

Mine is an Eu car and it does beep beep beep, legit scares nobody, when i use bimmercode to change the alarm it gives me the option to set either USA or UK, i haven't tried them but i think USA on mine beeps and honks and UK probably does the weeooweeoo.

Bedankt man. Dit is precies wat ik nodig heb om morgen mijn navi er uit te halen. Er zit een barst en het scherm, dus een iets andere reden, maar wel dezelfde procedure.

hai ik zie dat je zowel de radio als alle knoppen hebt vervangen dit is iets wat ik al een tijdje wil doen op mijn r56 omdat ik de zwarte knoppen veel mooier vind dan de huidige zilveren. waar heb je deze knoppen/radio gekocht?

Makkelijk te installeren. 40 minuten werk. Zie mijn andere filmpje hoe dashboard uit elkaar moet. k** radio en was na 1 week stuk. Nooit weer Ali electronica. Was niet de enige overigens

Ziet er dik in orde uit! Dacht al ‘2009 is toch met zilvere cd🤔’ maar je hebt deze vervangen voor de zwarte unit te laten passen zag ik in je andere video. Je zei de optie Apple CarPlay, is deze bijkomende nog te plaatsen/voorzien of gewoon in de usb insteken en klaar? Wil graag auto van vrouw uitrusten met CarPlay en achteruitrij camera. Zou je het aanraden?

De zwarte radio daarvoor had ik ook de lci dashboard gekocht. Dus niets zagen. Deze Chinese radio na 1 week er weer uitgehaald. Alleen maar ellende mee. Ik zou voor een A merk 1-din aftermarket radio gaan.

@@leceur bedankt voor de snelle feedback, op zich wel spijtig want zag er zo belovend uit, baal er wel wat van. Zou mooier passen als een aftermarket. Wat waren de problemen? Vervelend dat je online echt weinig info ervan kan vinden, ben al lang aan het rond snuffelen... ben blij dat ik iemand met ervaring heb kunnen opsporen 😉

@@alexandercollignon4819 sommige functies werkten soms ineens niet meer en moest de auto uit zetten. Na 1 week was het scherm dood. Kennis van mij ook alleen ellende mee gehad. Constant uitvallen. Ik zeg niet doen.

@@leceur oké, dan schrap ik het idee. Als het perfect zou werken (CarPlay en camera) leek het me de moeite maar zoveel geld om dan met sh*t te zitten in de auto van de madam 😂 no way 😇 thanks!

Hey Leceur how is going man? Hope all is well. Is this a direct swap? What kind of modification is required. I just picked up a radio like this one today as my R56 2007 did not come with USB input.

Denzel Wilson , all good. Almost a direct swap. Note you need to buy a new center console. The silver radio had the volume button under the cd player and new unit doesn’t. Also see last picture in this video. For USB to work I think you also need to program $6ND to your vehicle order with ncsexpert.

@@leceur ok thanks, i realize when i got home i didn’t take the display for this radio so I’m going back to the car in a few hours. You say i need the trim for the center console that i will pick up also. Anything else i need to get? That’s for replying.

Thanks! Aruba used to be Dutch but a 10 hour flight away from The Netherlands in the Caribbean. Lion fish are not native in those waters and have no enemies, so I understand they want to get rid of them, but I never kill them myself.
