( March/ April on our calendar) Exodus 12:2 records this as the 1st month of the year in Israel. Aviv, or ripe barley, is month of Passover/Unleavened Bread, Wave Sheaf/First Fruits. Shavuot or Pentecost came in the 3rd month of Sivan 50 days later. Then the fall Feasts are all in the 7th month of Tishri. Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles with the Last Great Day. The Feast of Trumpets heralded the coming birth of Jesus 15 days later on the 1st day of Tabernacles. I know of a person by calculating the lunar eclipses and new moons ( God's reckoning of time) Has dated Jesus' birth on our calendar was September, 26th in the year 3 BCE. He also has calculated Jesus' death and resurrection during Passover/Unleavened Bread in the year 28 CE. His crucifixion took place on Wednesday April 28th in the year 28 CE or the 14th day of the month of Aviv.

Other religions have borrowed some prophetic words from the Torah...but most stay away from prophesy because if they dont come to pass the scriptures from that religion lose validity. While knowing what your faith teaches is critical..asking God to reveal Himself is the surest way to the Truth. There is only one Truth. Absolute Truth exists whether a person believes it or not. For the Catholics..and i grew up Catholic..the Catholic church teaches many things that are not Biblical. If you are Catholic you should get the NIV and read it for yourself. The Catholic Bible has been modified for Catholics so thats not a good source. I would also say that while all of us wish peace for every people and faith..if you profess to be a Catholic and you think every religion leads to heaven you arent a true Catholic nor are you a true Christian. You cannot believe in Christ and think everyone who doesnt recognize Christ as the Messiah and Son of the Living God who died for man's sins and rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the Father will also have eternal life. You should show the love of Christ to everyone..but tell them what you know to be the Truth...not tell them that you love them and tell them they are lovely people. Noone can get to heaven by good deeds and trying to live kindly. That is the biggest lie from Satan. Satan is the "father of lies" And he fools people into thinking that human goodness is enough.
