making the big buck$ Do you have a 5/8" thick cutting edge? The reason I ask is that it's a good idea to get one on there as it's the thickest that I know of. You could sell your stock 3/8" or if you've put a 1/2" on it. The reason I say that, is as your cutting edge wears, so do the wing extension rubber edges. Have you priced those out? At least with a 5/8" (aftermarket) edge it will last longer, extending the life of the extension rubbers in return. Otherwise, when the steel edge on the V wears and you need to replace it, the rubber edges on the wings will be a few inches short of touching the ground.
@mcyoderlandscape64853 жыл бұрын
yeah buddy, we had a few weeks where winter actually showed up and now its back to nothing. I have the 1/2" cutting edge and its almost time to replace it, most likely this off-season. I know theyre big bucks but haven't priced them out recently... how much we talking for the wing cutting edges, $100-150?

How does that 6.0 gas motor handle pushing such a large plow?
@mcyoderlandscape64853 жыл бұрын
Believe it or not, not a problem at all. Even with a ton of salt/sand mix for weight/traction it handles it no problem at all. The only time I wish I had the Duramax/Allison combo is when I tow the trailers. But for plowing it does well
