Here in Montreal we have a muskie legend who caught and released at least 40 fish all way over 50 lbs! Mr Mike Lazarous

Channel catfish kept two as pets in garden pond. Would feed at the surface, never gave any problem to any of the other fish in the pond. Almost impossible get more cats in the uk although not illegal to keep it is apparently illegal for shops to sell.

at the end of Sept salmon and trout are closed there and a lot of trail user will let you know about it lol no matter what you are targeting. very nice pike and bowfin used to catch jumbo perch too. time gets lost in that creek, I have many times seen deer crossing the river

Much needed on both sides of the Atlantic; Canada,Britain,Ireland Norway and some North East US rivers to help them return..and then return again. Viva Salmo Salar...where ever they "run" Simon Artley Manchester UK

For a slip bobber I use a stopper, it's a little rubber bead made for the purpose, it's slide through the rings with no problems. They come in different sizes, I use #SSS on a UL rig.

There is a way simpler technique than this and I guarantee that that you cut through the tips of the Y bones when you cut that 1st chunk off the back of the fish. The following is the correct and most efficient way to fillet pike kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnu8lGSipKaZi5Isi=xqBCR8dsbqI1ZXZb

Still a couple bones in those tail pieces...in the big end of them. Have to go back about 1" -1 1/2" from the front of the back top fin, before you maake your tail cut. . Bones hidden in that strip.

You should use the snap only rather than the snap-swivel combo for the crankbait. The swivel will create line twist.

Any tips on how to NOT catch gobies?... almost every bite seems to be a goby... ive caught 3 perch, a drum, a black crappie, a baby walleye, a bluegill, and a young largemouth, but its taken me fishing almost daily (8hrs-14hrs straight) for a month to get just that...
@daniel721224 ай бұрын
thats fishing for ya, enjoy the journey and time outdoors in addition to the fish....try to keep the bait you're using off the floor, gobies like to stick to rocky bottoms, when they become a nusisance ive used them as bait in the same body of water and got some catfish and bass...what body of water are you on that has so many?
