22:00 YES I schedule myself to give my self time with my clients for any last minute questions but also to be ready and not feeling rushed between clients. School has taught me that i need to be at work an hour to hour and a half to set up and be ready once my client walks through my door. My clients love how i am ready and set up with everything as soon as they get there and I don’t have them waiting just because i double booked myself .

What would we do without you, I'm not learning crap in school. I've been a licensed cosmo for over 20 years, right out of high school, and decided to go to esthetics school to learn skin. They don't pay teachers enough to get good ones to teach. I had a few good ones, but they keep moving them around. Thank you so much for the video Kristen 😊

Thank you for this video Kristen!! I am an estie student with hopes of going solo one day and I am also an eminence ride or die since 2014! I worked in a spa at the front desk for 2 years back in 2014 and we had an amazing rep who came quarterly to educate us and because I believed in the products and saw results, the guests thought I was an estie because I knew so much! I did reach out to them for my business project at school and their opening order was steep! But that does include the testers, and retail, not just backbar. They also sent me the order form and protocols. I will say Eminence is a luxury brand and people will seek out your spa if you use Eminence, but I am worried about the price point for people who don’t know or care about Eminence’s business practices. With that said, I was able to create fun, seasonal facials (for my business plan) with their offerings and I am not sure I can do that with Image or a few other brands, so if that’s something you plan on offering they rock at that! Thanks again! I love your content and it’s been so educational and enlightening!! 🤍🤍🤍

Hi I’m a current esthetician student 🙋🏾♀️, love your content however, aren’t you drying out these clients skin by the constant steam going throughout almost half the service?
@nessa52507 күн бұрын
she was only using steam throughout the cleansing process and removed it afterwards. I wouldn’t say that’s half the service.
@nessa52507 күн бұрын
it’s quite common for estheticians to steam the client through the cleansing step. it always depends on your client’s skin and i’m sure since she’s worked on her before, she’s gotten to know what her client’s skin can handle.
@savannajaane3807 күн бұрын
@@nessa5250I’ve actually seen her do this on multiple clients. I just know steam can dry out the skin especially if it’s being used excessively like that.
@kristenmarieco6 күн бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your support and the question 😊 I think It depends on the client’s skin and your own observation during the service but in all the years I’ve done this clients love the steam and I’ve never felt the steam to dry a clients skin too much. If anything I find it helps soften any congestion in the pores and keep the skin moist. The only time I’ve modified steam usage is if the client has rosacea. But yeah I typically only do it during the cleanse and a lot of the skin script enzyme’s can optionally be used with steam. Hope that helps!

Hiiii! I literally just stumbled across your channel and now I'm like a kid in a candy store trying to decide which videos to watch first!! I'm a licensed cosmetologist who has been out of the game for a while (like I've been raising babies for over a decade!). I'm trying to decide if I should spend the money to go to esthetician school, or how I'd go about getting continuing education as I really would love to work for a med spa! Thank you so much for any insights you may have on the matter:-)
