Thank you so much for watching my video and your comments. I did not mean for this piece to be taken as a rumba, and only use the term "Flamenco Rumbas" to label my flamenco music in general (perhaps misleading, and sorry for that). I don't use a pick, only my fingers. Due to a severe injury to my hands, I was faced with either giving up playing this music style which I love, or finding alternative techniques. Unable to play picados and arpeggios in the traditional manner, I can only use my index finger (held in place by other fingers), and consequently do it with sequential up-and-down strokes. Still thankfully able to do some rasqueados. I am glad you love flamenco as well, and understand your frustration with its modern fusions with other styles. Thanks - Olinka

⁠@@MichelleOlinkaGrimes Having to hold your index finger made it appear that you were holding a plectrum. Perhaps you could still edit the video title to make it more accurate. Your style is certainly unusual. You seem to have quite some experience, but I would say that your pieces would benefit from less speed and, between rasgueados, more force on individual strings. Also, if your thumb is still ok, you could use that a bit more, including for thumb-up, finger(s) down, thumb-up rasgueados. BTW I have a reputation as a ruthless critic, so please interpret my comments accordingly. If you pass by London you could perhaps visit the monthly Peña Flamenca.
