It's a Pre-made episode battles. If you want to achieve this, you should complete the alternative objective.

Honestly some of these what if scenarios are so weird. How can Goku get up after being pierced by the special beam cannon.

How? The manga and anime demonstrate Saiyans pulling on hidden reserves of power very often when agitated. Gohan knocking the wind out of Raditz, Goku basically getting a senzu when attaining SSJ, Gohan fighting Goku when Ginyu stole his body, Vegeta knocking around Beerus after he smacks Bulma.

@moeski17 because by that point goku was pierced in the heart where here it was more so his collarbone/shoulder area. Still he should have died but you have to account, goku dies after this scene/battle anyways so homie still died no matter what
