K, my interpretation of this might me a little different. To me, this looks like Moon was corrupted first, and Sun tried everything to save him, but when he realized he couldn't, he chose to join him instead of abandoning him, corrupting them both. At the end of the day, they are together, regardless of the cost.

Oh god, I can't express how much I love this. Moon's gentle coaxing to get Sun to come with him/see things from his perspective, 'cause he knows everything will be so much easier/better when Sun gives in? Sun's appalled desperation to make Moon see reason, even though Moon's completely gone by now? Moon pulling Sun down with him, holding him so close and safe, Sun _giving in_ because he just can't fight anymore??? You can't do this to meee. I'm gonna take so long to recover haha. I'm so not normal about this. When I say this has been hoarding every spare resource of my brain for the better part of a day it's not even much of an exaggeration. One thing I really love/identify with is how gentleness and detachment from reality can add to the horror of Moon's character, and that was captured so well here! I love off-his-everything security gremlin Moon too, but my favourite will always be "completely brainwashed naptime attendant".

Holy shit this is incredible!! It's so tragic and I love it! Moon being so thoroughly infected that he drags Sun down with him, infecting him too. And the way Moon holds Sun as they're sinking down into the darkness speaks to a close relationship (of any kind, platonic, familial or romantic), like, at least to me, it looks like Moon is clutching Sun close, trying to keep him safe even as he drags him down into whatever hell Moon himself is in. And Sunny's fear in the beginning slowly turning into confusion, then acceptance as he's fully taken over is just heartbreaking in the best possible way. At least they're together in the end, even if they're both taken over by the virus.

Why can i imagine sun just skipping behind whoever their hunting and just leading them to moon or just sun finding their victim randomly and deciding to get them to 'safety' and just giving them to moon. Like the innocent sun holds with his intere existence while moon is just the big monster every fears, so why wouldn't they trust sun more? Its not like he could ever hurt them, which is correct. Sun wouldn't hurt them, but moon would!

There's a unique horror in Sun and Moon's situation compared to the other animatronics, in that Moon is overcome by something horrible *while Sun is attached to him*, while they're practically under each other's skin, unable to escape from the shared body and its infection. In the game and DLC, this results in an unending fight for control before ultimately culminating in their salvation. This animatic takes an alternate route, where the tie between them means that Sun gets dragged down with his other half. The shot that hits the hardest for me is 0:55; if you look at it when it's glitching, you can see that Moon is crying. I think that in some surviving part of his mind, he realizes how bad his situation is, he knows he's inflicting the same thing upon Sun, and it's breaking him. And, if we apply that concept to the final shot, then we realize that Sun isn't spared from this truth either. TL;DR: Sad animatic that gets more disturbing the more you think about it. Ouch (but in an artistically admirable way).
