It’s baffling to me how you can be moved on from a spot like that just because you intend to spend the night sleeping on the ground. Is it not our birthright as human beings, have we not spent the last million years surviving under the sky, sleeping where it suited us to be able to sleep on the ground under the sky for the night? If you like a tunnel, go for a walk through Thrutch Tunnel in Waterfoot in Rossendale. The walking around there isn’t as good as you’re used to but there’s a lot of history around the tops of Rossendale

Yeah, when you're landing at Manchester Airport you actually see that tunnel if you're on the right hand side of the plane. Just came back from Fuertaventura a few days ago and saw the tunnel that I recognised from this video!!

Mate, I thank my 29 year old self for buying my little one bedroom house when I did back before property went daft. I now have my very little fortress of solitude and no one can take it away. Couple of comments from me Mike. Firstly, have you ever been to Lanzarote? The nearer you get to the volcano there the stranger the landscape becomes. The whole area is black with lava. It's the weirdest experience. Secondly, why on earth would you ruin this experience by going to Mc Donalds?? I can only conclude that you're a secret Chav (and tbh, you seemed to gravitate towards Chavsville a fair few times) :)

I don’t hold with ghosts and all that, however I have a theory that the rocks, minerals and general geology of a location can trap information or energy in the same way that an old school C45 magnetic tape can. Imagine how much powerful energy is released by such a concentration of suffering humans, and how that energy could soak into the local geology. We humans have our own subtle electrical fields that surround us, and I think that we are sensitive to such concentrations of energy, and it is this interaction that we feel when we go to places like this. I had a similar experience at the site where the public guillotine was located in Paris during the revolution.

Such a tiny room , but it's an interesting solution for thrifty trip makers. The "bed room" (actually bed) seems to be absolutely noise proof and guarantee good sleep which is priority! Hope you had a good time in Cracow, Cheers

Oh Mike, you just evoked special memories. I stayed at Port Erin on my primary school trip in 1972. I'd actually forgot where we stayed. Just remember visiting the Laxey Wheel and a beach.

It’s the seals you can’t see that you need to worry about. The ones in the water were all giving it “he are mate! Over ‘ere! Over ‘ere!” Whilst another one of their number sneaks up and crouches behind your feet so that they can push you backwards over their mate. They basically all just leg it after that, usually laughing and calling you a bummer as they flollop off on their bellies. A bit of harmless fun really, but you can’t trust the wet feckers.
