The Baku Theme came about in a time of my life where the stars were in disarray, and so was my heart. Almost 30 years later, I have accepted the changes that made me who I am today. Keep moving. It's worth it. It can be confusing and pointless at times, but you are energy, not matter.

Comparable to Patrick Doyle’s “Harry in Winter” (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire [2004, Warner Bros., Mike Newell]); John Williams’s “Princess Leia’s Theme” (Star Wars [1977, 20th-Century Fox, George Lucas]); Howard Shore’s Rivendell Themes (The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings [2001, Warner Bros./New Line Cinema, Peter Jackson]), amongst a handful of others. Mr. Goldsmith’s own Main Title to Star Trek: First Contact (1996, Paramount, Jonathan Frakes) also is poignantly befitting that story.

This is a very chill opening, then uplifting and hopeful. It picks up the pace till the end. Much like the series in my opinion. It got cancelled right as it found it's wings.
