im getting mixed signals. he literally says I'm better than the rest of the girls at our school, calls me pretty, even compliments me and says that I'm a good person and anyone would like me. but then he talks about his "crush" and stuff. but when I ask him about her he says that he thinks shes only cute and he doesn't really like her (she doesn't like him). does this mean that he likes me or is he just playing with me?

I think you should maintain some distance for a while and see, cause it looks like he is unsure about it, and you shouldn't be with someone who is unsure about how they feel about you. This is a huge mistake ppl do, be with someone who is very clear if they want you or not, mixed signals guys are kind of red flags. Also the fact he told you you're better than the other girls in your school so cliché honestly. Maintain your distance girls and see what happens. Prioritize yourself.

Please get as far from him as you can. You deserve someone who makes it absolutely known he likes you. Love isn't this anxiety filled confusing feeling. It's actually calming. Peaceful. If he didn’t talk to other girls and was kind of an introvert like me then it would make sense that he isnt telling you directly but since he is a guy who talks with other girls as well and obv is an extrovert and still gives you mixed signals, thats a red flag.

Recently, I've gained this crush on someone. I'm getting mixed signals all the time and I just don't know what to do. Sometimes he's talking to other girls, or sometimes I catch him staring directly at me. His best friend, let's call him D. So D found out about this crush and always uses it against me. He told EVERYONE in my class that I had a crush on someone and they've all been trying to figure it out. One day, i was talking to D about my crush. I told D that my crush probably doesn't like me back and he asked me why I think that. I told him it's because he probably likes another girl that isn't me. And then D kind of snickered and he said you think your crush likes ???. BUT INSTEAD OF SAYING "YOUR CRUSH" HE SAID HIS REAL NAME. So I got mad at D for saying it out loud but no one had heard his name EXCEPT FOR MY CRUSH. So then he came over and he asked us if we were talking about him and then D stepped up and told him he was js gnna ask him what game he is playing
