It's been 20+ years since I did a brake drum overhaul. But my daughter bought a 1977 Ford F-150 with rear drum brakes. Your video may save tools flying across the garage when I meltdown! I'll let you know how it went.

TY for the realistic vid! i watched another one where the guy used tee shirts to apply it and then sweirled it like he was using actual wax .. so thats what i did and it completely ruined and already bad finish- idk what he was using but it sure as hell was not this sticky stuff as you said ... maybe i can undo some of the Fd up mess that idiot caused me by giving liis poor & unrealistic application information .... headed to Dollar General to get a dam sponge mop😡 PS for any of you on here reading rhis - rhe YT vid is a guy & girl and a tiny RV-DONT TAKE HIS ADVICE- this guy on here is the real deal👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@tylersatterwhite2034 Thank you so much and hoped it help in some way. How wires were positioned allowed me to know grasp the connector to twist it out. This made mine more difficult to remove without breaking the wires from the connector. I had no choice for my exposed harness. Any issues with vibrations, leaking, or ground/ light flickering? I am tempted to do rivet nuts and use epoxy around the rivet to prevent any of those issues, along with running a dedicated ground wire down to under the dash away from the elements. However, if this worked well for you I will not over complicate it. Thank you for the video

As far as leaks, my truck is garage kept but do wash and detail it and have not seen any water intrusion from the cab lights. Quick question can you hook the temp switch wire into the thermostat housing?

@@rthomas1963 Yes, you can bypass it and use a 12v switch vs temp sensor to turn the fans on. I may do that at some point so I can control when they come on or one fan to temp and 2nd to a switch. @@JohnJohn-vv2vq Thanks! Great question too! Mine is not connected to blink with the turn signals. I have mine connected to the parking/headlight switch. However, you can tap in and connect them to the side blinker wires to achieve this or both blinker and parking light wire. You may need a flasher wire for LED, just depends on the LED blinking load. But try it, if it doesn’t work at the in-line flasher, you can buy them at Oreillys in the light aisle. Please Subscribe and click Bell. @@MrLiveWires-kc5lr if you want fast results it’s great and doesn’t take much elbow grease other than a few coats to get that super shine we want. Ultimate a re-gelcoat is best but if u want something fast you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you put it only on the areas you want polish. Maintenance, I did nothing but wash it and after 4 years the Polish removed and of course oxidation sat in. You can wash and add more coats each season or use a polish remover and re-polish. I just posted a video last week of what it looks like now and a “new” process to re-polish I took. Wool and a polisher/buffer this time. More elbow grease but a true polish/buff result that’s for RV’s/Boats. Please Subscribe and hit Bell. My store: operationrv.printify.me

@@chuckdburns8558 It worked out as I hoped for. Watch my Ep. 11 & 12. Here I go through my tuning process and fabbing up a Power Valve to reference Boost. Mind you it’s a 2 barrel and can only push so much fuel with this type of needle and seat. Don’t forget about timing too. @@kevinklino3193 The tape has lasted a long time but with other parts of the awning getting whethered those untapped areas have been affected plus hurricane winds, 70+ mph driving all over. That's not a silencer..... That guides the air into the center of the turbo and reduces turbulence. Your bearings are gonna wear out. Don't do this if you have any common sense.

If people viewed other turbo makers they’ll notice that there’s really no other obstruction to help air move into the turbo. Yes, if I did a wind test I could agree that the cap on this Holset would or could help air flow in. It’s simple aerodynamics. That my 2 cents. @@santidmercadoable No rust but be sure to coat them in a hi heat clear coat to keep the chrome color. One 300+ degrees get to them they start to change color. The one to keep the perfect chrome finish longevity is coating them which they don’t do. I have a video on here showing me flipping them and wrapping them in titanium exhaust wrap cause I’m now boosting 6lbs. Boost with twin GT3582 turbos.
