I loved loved your video! So helpful and relatable, thank you! On my Pcos journey with testosterone and insulin resistance issues I found that the supplement Berberine is a great healthy alternative to Metaformin. I just got my blood test back and am already seeing drastic improvements. I also found that Ashwagandha helps with mood and cortisol levels as well but magnesium is a game changer really. So glad you mentioned that. Zinc and copper also helps things like hirsutism naturally. So incorporating in your diet or taking it as a supplement does help. Thanks again for all your info. This video either help me realize I’m on the right track or given me new options to try to lower my testosterone! And thanks for telling us the time frame how long this will take with the life style changes as well. I don’t find a lot of people do that when they throw out Pcos info out there, so really appreciate that!

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. I am very grateful to you for them. I am trying to help my daughter who has been on birth control after being diagnosed with PCOS a year ago. I found your channel searching today after I asked her how she was doing today and she just said 'fine, I guess.' Then told me she has been worried about her hair thinning. ☹️ As a mom, I know this means she is VERY worried. I am so grateful to not have to feel bound to a Dr's pill rx. Thank you. Your videos are so helpful and you have a mother's touch💙

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HELPED ME WITH THIS VIDEO. THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I'M FEELING AND IT'S AFFECTING MY SOCIAL AND FAMILY LIFE. I FOUND OUT I HAVE PCOS LAST WEEK AND EVER SINCE I'VE BEEN FEELING BLUE. WHILE EVERYONE IS OKAY EVEN THO I EXPLAINT IT AND MADE LIFE CHANGES. MY FAMILY DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HOW I'M FEELING AND I CAN'T TELL 'EM CAUSE ALL I WANNA DO IS SCREAM AT THEM FOR SOME REASON. ALL DAY LONG I FEEL FINE, THEN I'M MAD, THEN I WANNA CRY, THEN I'M FINE AGAIN. I'VE BEEN LIKE THIS FOR TOO LONG AND DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS PCOS. NOW THAT I'M TAKING NEW SUPPLEMENTS AND CHANGED MY LIFESTYLE I HOPE I FEEL BETTER SOON.

there's a crap load of sugar in your day with all of these items. Excess sugars (even natural sources) are bad for women with PCOS.

False. Check the sources listed in other videos on the real facts about natural sources of sugar and why after 10 years of battling lack of ovulation and PCOS I am now fertile, symptom free, and healed from PCOS eating this way. Me and other women are testimonies to this fact as well.

Most omega-3 and fish oil supplements are already oxidized and will not do much. The most bioavailable omega-3 comes from actual fish, sardines, animal products. I am concerned you will eventually get sick again as a vegan. Only eat grassfed beef and organic non-GMO fed animal products. Some plants have anti-nutrients and plant defense toxins that can actually cause inflammation and autoimmune response in the body such as lectins and oxalates. Good luck! I hope you get better.
@thehappymama6442
@thehappymama6442 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the concern but most of what you mentioned has been reputed by studies. I have been vegan about 6 years and just went through a second whole successful pregnancy and birth completely vegan. I have had full panel blood draws too at my yearly check ups and have not once had an issue with any nutrients, hormones, or blood counts of any type, which was not true for me when I was eating organic raised meats. Fish get their omegas from algea, and herbivores that human eat get their nutrients from plants. Us as humans can do either. I happen to thrive on a plant based diet and have never felt better or been the health I am in now until I started eating a vegan diet.

This video was beyond helpful. I didn’t want to get on this pill because I had a feeling it was horrible and it turns out I was true. I haven’t gotten my period for at least a year and wanted to do it naturally but I was eating so bad and “healthy” but not healthy enough. I have to change my ways and try to get my period naturally, I hate going on medication. Any suggestions? I’m also 16 almost 17 and I was diagnosed with PCOS at 15. And I do want to get off the pill should I get off the pill as soon as possible? I just started it too I have been on it for almost a month. I really want to get off of it.. I can find other ways to cure acne. But I need tips on how to get my period if I am going to get off of it. I’m to scared to tell my mom because she thinks the birth control helps but I will talk to her and she will understand.

I read Dr. Lara Briden’s blog posts and she reccomends magnesium and zinc for all PCOS patients. Magnesium helps with sugar cravings. And i found it to be true for myself. Other than that i put rosemary oil and even sometime melatonine on my scalp to grow my hair back. Again, I learned this info from Lara’s blog posts/book. She is very scientific and explains the reasons behind taking each supplement and cites the source of the studies which is great. Other than that I’ve heard about the peony and licorice, i haven’t tried it. I currently started to take Saw Palmetto. I found your video to be very helpful. I will purchase the Omegas that you mentioned. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
