@@PursuitofWilderness when I was feeding kids and you can still go hunting wherever you needed to go I used to harvest 10 to 12 a year not as big as that we used to get dear one day I made the mistake I was shooting a medium sized buck in the bullet passed through and hit his daddy and a man seen it and that was the beginning of the end

I'm primarily a saltwater fisherman from Florida so I'd like an explanation as to why the fish don't just go in a cooler.

Sometimes we do use coolers. Using a stringer allows us to keep fish alive and fresh without a cooler for a couple of hours until we’re ready to fillet them!
