I go watch this every so often so I can see my loved ones who have since left us and hear their voices and remember the beautiful memories they've left behind. We've said goodbye to so many people, I wish they had more time with us we weren't ready to let them go but their legacies live on in this video and for that I am thankful ❤ Little Red River Cree Nation❤

The Cree people should not for a moment feel embarrassed for being "Indian" (after 9 yrs. in E and SE Asia, for me Indians speak Hindi and Punjabi) - for me the Cree are another nation, like Mexicans, and Thai, and Japanese, so I'm looking forward to meeting as many Cree people as I can, I will bring my drum and hopefully at least somebody will care to play with me...

The way CDNs treat their First Nations is a moral disgrace - the only remaining people on the planet who have a clue how to live close to the Creator and to Mother Earth are the ones who most CDNs don't really give much thought to, except when there's another suicide and the white guilt kicks in, and they send "mental wellness" teams to rescue the poor "Indians"...

With 13 yrs. "away" as they say in NS, I don't see Canada from "Canadian" eyes anymore, I see them as a Thai, and a Japanese, and a Korean, and a Mexican, and at times the culture shock at times still rips me apart - Canadians in their big cities cluck and purr over how tolerant they are, yet their First Nations live like it's Mexico, and not Canada.

Greetings to the Little Red River Cree First Nation, am likely to accept a teaching job at John J'Or Prarie public school. Have lived half my adult life abroad and don't really fit back into white mainstream "Canadian" culture, if I had any reservations (no pun intended) about moving to a totally foreign culture they were laid to rest watching Idle No More in High Level. Awesome!

Oh by all means then, believe everything the idiot box says because everyone knows state run and corporate media ALWAYS tells the truth right? FYI I am a white Canadian and I understand full well the impacts the Idle No More movement has on EVERYONE and not just Indigenous people though they are the most effected

As 1 of those non-native tax payers you speak of I would like to express support for the Idle No More movement and tell you to inform yourself on the real issues. Did you know that the yearly funding per person within the Attawapiskat reserve is actually less then each white Canadian child in Ontario gets just for education per year? Attawapiskat must use this funding for education, shelter, food, water, heat and everything else and not just education

"Harper Sucks Moose Balls"??? That's an excellent way to get the point of the typical native across to Tax-Paying Canadians. Why not threaten the rest of Canada that you will bring the Economy to its knees by refusing to show up for work? Oh Yeah........ Ooooops!! That won't work; now will it? I guess it's better to disrupt the tax payers who pay for your existence. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Maybe you have never worked in the media or realized how easy it is to spin a story using only select footage? How may of the Chiefs did you see being interviewed? Certain media need sensationalism. It sells. But others have printed and aired the views of Chiefs and lawyers who will be meeting with the Prime Minister. Read the literature regarding Bill C-45. Having done so, if you still have a conflicting viewpoint, I would be happy to debate your concerns...

The mistake is thinking that this movement is about Chief Spence. This movement is about people, mainly First Nations but not exclusively, that will not stand by and watch as unjust laws are passed with being contested. Laws the, should they be allowed, will effect the quality of life of every single Canadian.

Regardless of your misinformed opinion, Alex D, we are fighting for you, your children and your children's children...Please don't think that living in "peace and tranquility" is any different from burying your head in the sand...Harper is counting on that type of thinking and it needs to stop...while we still can.
@RennieNooskey

The "Idle No More" movement is not an "Indian" movement. It is a movement to save the natural resources of Canada! The water, the gas and oil and the forests are all at risk because of this bill. First Nations have ALWAYS opposed overdevelopment. Take away the rights of First Nations and nobody will stand in Harpers way of selling off or destroying this land. Educate yourself on the facts of an issue before you decide to voice an opinion...it will save from ignorance and unjustified hatred...
@RennieNooskey

Alex D, please explain where, exactly First Nations are supposed to go? If you do not like it in Canada, maybe you should be the one to leave? As for you being a "Tax Payer", the money that is generated(STOLEN) from First Nations treaty and traditional lands is in the tens of billions. If not for the money, Canada would not be anywhere near as well off as they are. Where is this money distributed to? The head offices of major multinational corporations, often making foreign investors very rich.
