Thank you Dr Herman, I have numbness in my right foot. Some tingling and a burning sensation and pins and needles. Not diabetic, don’t drink, good sense status, good circulation, no vitamin deficiencies. The doctor says it’s probably a mechanical problem and the podiatrist is perplexed. I work in a kitchen all day on my feet for 10 -11 hours. I don’t know what to do other than strengthen my core and improve my posture. I was diagnosed with EDS in 2015. I think I probably have cranial cervical instability. I recently hurt my back and knee so I got an MRI. But I really hurt my neck in the MRI machine... it was very painful... like I was getting pinched bad at the neck. Ever since then I've been lightheaded. I got the MRI on Oct 8. I've also had gurgly stomach since then as well. I recently had my neck manipulated and later that day I had a scary POTS attack like I'd never had before. I've always had mild POTS. I've been doing a lot of reading on the vagus nerve and sounds like the symptoms I'm having is possibly from damage or pinched vagus nerve. I also find your approach very interesting and am so happy you are helping so many people. My sister and I both grew up right next to a freeway and we've always wondered if the toxins from it could have caused me to have Aspergers, and now I wonder if it could have played a part in us having EDS. Since I got my neck hurt in the MRI machine, my hips are coming out of place daily. Not just subluxing but go out of place and stay out for a while. It just seems like this is happening so much more frequently since the MRI. And my shoulder joints are subluxing more now and my right hand gets a little numb when I sleep. I've been so worried about my future and don't want to end up in a wheelchair.

My TSI levels were high but my thyroid hormones were normal. My doctor did not know why.

How do you test for these potential viruses/ailments?

I am a 61 year old woman, who is very health-conscious... I practice good nutrition, don't drink coffee or sodas, exercise and am thin. I believe that I have IC, I have been having recurring UTIs during the past year, I am not sexually active, drink 2.5 liters of water a day and I still urinate 17-23 times in 24 hours! I understand the young woman's pain- I experience the irritation, sleepless nights, etc. My urologist is dismissing me - calling it overactive bladder, but neither Mybetric or Vesicare has helped any. I keep going to the ER. I don't want to have a cystography- I am adamant, I have personal reasons, but I don't know what to do. This has begun about 2 years ago, and has worsened in the last year. I wish I could find a holistic doctor, but my only insurance is Medicaid.

Hi Doctor, I use to have bladder incontinence at sleep during childhood up until 13 yrs. Then I got diagnosed with IC in 2023. I had severe vitamin D deficiency,poor diet due excess intake of processed food, food colours, etc and poor fluid intake since 2017 after moving to Ireland from India. I had a severe tooth infection which formed an abscess in 2021 and was surgically extracted after a time period . I have ulcerative interstitial cystitis that r controlled by diet, baking soda, dh aloe Vera . Doctor do u think I had IC from childhood that advanced when I grew up ?

Also people most likely haven't truly cut it all out of their diet, especially if they are not avoiding any regular prescriptions/over the counter meds. They'll need compound medications made corn free- no cornstarch fillers, no veggie capsules, no syrups or alternative sweetener not designated as anything other than syrup from honey, an beet, or sourced from cane/sugar. Additionally, corn protein reactions are seen more with those reactive to field corn (though all corn is a trigger eventually to those intolerant to allergic), as field corn is where a majority of corn derivatives come from. As a person who is severely disabled from my corn allergy being skin contact, airborne, and digestive reactive, and having it as my main autoimmune conditions trigger also, corn contamination is EVERYWHERE and in EVERYTHING. And sadly, as seen within our allergy community, not all negative tests mean anything. For example, I'll only show up in blood work weakly, yet just touching a wet dumdum sucker my kids throw into my hands will instantly get my system working on go, cardiovascular, and neurological anaphylaxis without fail. Some only show up in skin prick tests, and some neither. At that point a dietary journal to track food choices and their ingredients or CC of manufacturing, as well as reactions to them at that time, will also help one to redirect to a possible better level of quality of life. I think I have this. 10 days ago I got wisdom tooth surgery under general anesthesia and was put on antibiotics for 5 days. By the 4th or 5th day I started having frequent urination and discomfort. I felt it was similar to a UTI but I didn’t have any burning. Tried cranberry juice etc. nothing worked, went into a clinic and they’d don’t find UTI in my urinalysis. Went to urgent care and again they didn’t find any infection in my urine but they prescribed me antibiotics for UTI say that the amoxicillin antibiotic I took for wisdom teeth probably suppressed the UTi making it not show up in the urine. To me that just doesn’t sound right. I’m in pain 24/7 and have pressure, tightness etc. taken 4 antibiotic UTI pills but no progress. I feel miserable and hoping a doctor will see it for what is cuz ik I do. What do you think may have caused this? The anesthesia or the antibiotics?
