1) with regards to mahima I don't know why "Love" is the reason he needs to kill mahima Previously Sid killed anyone who mithran "Cares" about Mahima could have been killed for that reason 2) With regards to Giving Hint about the Bug Every move that Sid makes in the movie gives hint about the bug Even mithran says "he somehow knows what i am doing and what I'll do in future" At this point Sid must have known he sensed something about his plan And if Sid had any respect for mithran's intelligence, he would have known that mithran has found out his bug plan Especially when things one after the other going in mithran's way He should have known it Imagine this These are the last things he heard from mithran before that scene _"he somehow knows what i am doing and what I'll do in future"_ How could someone who believes that would ~Pursue a New Plan~ ~Not searched for a bug in his house with bug detector~ But he didn't know until the climax Thats where i feel that Sid's character has been downgraded from that point 3) With Regards to Shilpa He said "Love at first sight , Kill at First betrayal. That's what i believe in" If that's what he believes in He should have killed her If He didn't believe that He shouldn't have even planned to kill her in the first place The argument that he suddenly changed his mind because mahima will not meet her does not explain his relationship with shilpa has been damaged. She betrayed him ✅ She Lied to him ✅ And if sid is ready to excuse all that That's my problem with Sid's character in the movie since that scene

@@JayMorganCG yes yes I get it, you have repeated the same points that you conveyed in the podcast for which I had posted a reply. I will try to elaborate my views: 1) With regards to Mahima, love is the reason because Sid mentions it to his father during his conversation about killing Shilpa. He says "After killing Shilpa, I will kill Mahima too because he (Mithran) should also feel the pain of losing a loved one." And until the point of Mithran and Mahima's conversation which actually makes Mithran realise about his love towards Mahima, he treated her just as a normal friend and was strictly against love. Going by the logic that Sid killed everyone Mithran cared for, then he did care for his other friends also but Sid never killed them. And in fact Sid killed Janardhan because he was involved in the memory card issue and never told Sid about its location (which was actually hidden in the stick). He even told Sid that "avanukku irukirudhu ore feeling dhaan adhu unna alikiradhu". So this concludes that he just didn't kill everyone Mithran cared for randomly but only when he had a reason. 2) And regarding the bug, Mithran did say "he somehow knows what I am doing and what I'll do in future". But the reason could be anything, it was only the audience and Sid who actually knew about the bug until that point. Even Mithran himself didn't knew about the bug at that point, he just vented out his frustration of not being able to get the better of Sid. Since we (audience) know about the bug it's easier to criticise, very similar to criticising anything in hindsight. So Sid not knowing about Mithran finding out about the bug is very much sensible. 3) Regarding Shilpa, as I told in my previous response also: Sid loved Shilpa and decided to kill her only because she lied to him and could be a potential threat to him also if she had continued with the scheduled meeting with Mahima. When he said "love at first sight, kill at first betrayal", he was trying to find out a justification for the killing as he never did anything without a reason. Because in my view, betrayal for just lieing was a harsh word against Shilpa. Since the makers didn't actually specify the context of lieing, this leads to speculation. I look at it as a lie about scheduling a meet with Mahima without Sid's knowledge that's all. And Sid uses the word betrayal for just a lie because his emotional senses took over making him raged. So eventually when it was decided that Shilpa will not meet Mahima, the threat factor according to Sid was eliminated and provided the fact that he loved her to the core, he chose to spare her. So finally it does feel like the antagonist was weak in the 2nd half, in my view the sole reason for that is due to his unprecedented strength in the 1st half which would make his 2nd half portrayal relatively weaker. With a bug planted against your opponent, you become almost invincible. So the makers had to find out a way to make the protagonist have an upper hand (the reasons for which I have mentioned above). Also it relies on the perspective I feel, you are looking at it from the prism of antagonist who felt weaker to you and I am looking at it from the prism of protagonist who felt much smarter than the villain to me.

The Story still doesn't revolve around what happens to a Robo, if it had a consciousness like human beings. The Story revolves around what happens if this conscious robo has been inserted a RED CHIP. So, This is still a story about a Robo Malfunction caused by a bad guy , rather than Destruction caused by a Robo who fell in love. You can see in climax, conscious chitti is pretty much okay with sacrificing his love.
