Compa Cheo yep it definitely can be. I didn’t think I would use it much but I start my car a couple times a day so the engine can get warmed up before I start going.

Compa Cheo nope been great so far. My battery died randomly one day and it got replaced but other than that I’ve enjoyed it.

Nice ride. I got the same one just a silver color this car is a treasure. I think I am the only one got this car in my area here in San diego that still in stock toyota cressida 1988.

Yes it is. A little 1.6 Turbo but it is pretty fun.

@@cribs78 Nice man, I think ex BMW engineers worked on that car. Does it have a Boost Gauge? I noticed lots of new Turbo cars dont come with a boost gauge or even boost showing in the info screen

@@JohnDrivesAnything Unfortunately it does not have a boost gauge. I think it would add to the sportiness of the interior if they did incorporate one. Wish it did as I believe the Civic Si has one in it’s info screen. The interior is great though and it is very comfortable driving. The way the power comes on reminds me of my old 3800 SC 04 Impala.

@@cribs78 My Abarth has a factory one. My sisters 2018 Jetta Doesnt, My Dads 2017 Zr2 doesnt and my friends 2012 Sonic doesnt. I ordered a cheap OBD2 boost Gauge to try out on their cars

@@JohnDrivesAnything before the Elantra I had the 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta. It didn't have one either but man that was a great small car. Got rid of it because a lot of 1.0s were having head issues and I knew mine was going to eventually happen and I didn’t want to deal with it outside of warranty. Now I have a 10 year warranty lol.

That rear bumper has a horrible paint job. I hope that is not the quality Chevrolet lets out of their factory. Horrible orange peel.

I'm thinking about getting one saw one for sale by me...are they pricy to maintain? Any problems to know or look out for on these?

Honestly these cars are great. This car has never left me stranded in 7 years. Saying that the problem to look out for are the air intake gasket and valve cover gaskets. Those are the main things. Check under the hood and check to see if there are puddles on top of the block. Other things may want to ask if they have ever had the supercharger oil changed and take it for a run at full throttle after it heats up and make sure there is not a miss fire which would mean new plugs and wires. I also had to get my rotors done at about 100k so may want to check on that as well. They are fun cars but they are getting older so expect a few repairs now and then. And if you ever want to put a few bolt on on ZZP is a great performance parts supplier for 3800s.

Swweet Impala. I got the same 04 ss. Only mod is k & n intake. Interested in changing exhaust , pulley and maybe tuner.

I have a question for I just got a Chevy impala all stock and I want to have like yours but super loud what can I do??

to go all out I would do: headers (plog from zzp), a 3 inch downpipe which removes the stupid u-bend, remove the resonator, and go with some type of new mufflers. I can't necessarily recommend flowmasters. Checkout some sounds from other exhaust uploads with the same engine. And of course a tune at the end will always make it 10x better. That's all in though.

yes those are my mufflers. In this video I also had the u-bend deleted, and a better flowing downpipe and catalytic converter. The mufflers I believe ended up costing about 300 total for the parts and install.

Keep going... Not a bad start... Id put a glasspack on it to get rid of the rasp. If you plan on modding it more, go with a 3in dp and plog or headers. 2.5 and plog might be ok if your staying around a 3.6 or 3.5 pulley.

@jonathanv1989 Pretty much says in the description.. But it's just a flowmaster 40series with the resonator deleted and a k&n filter. Prolly will make a nother video in a few weeks with the new stuff I have on it.
