I completed the Dog Training program about 8 years ago, and I thought it was great! Well worth it.

For six years I have been giving my Jackcheese (Jack Russel& Chihuahua) liquid medicine every 6 hours round the clock. He's always taken it with the juice, or gravy in his dog food, then I feed him the dog food. Suddenly, the last 2 weeks, he refuses to take it. I put it in the food and he'll eat half of it. I have been waiting for the seizures to start, and tonight they did. I'll try your trick with the cottage cheese. My concern is, he takes so much medicine at one time and so often, I hope he can tolerate so much dairy. Thank you.

Good job! Maybe I'll use a hand towel or wash cloth? for my chiweenie at 6 lbs. Elva

It's kind of a bummer that they don't offer hands on training for the zookeeper program they have.

I'm taking classes for this program now. It's a bummer that they don't have any hands on experience for the Zookeeper Curriculum.

How is it?? Did you talk to your local zoo about this?? Please reply I really wanna know more about this
@dinomanny41Ай бұрын
@@zzirfamo24 Like I said, you have to volunteer or intern for your local zoo yourself for hands on experience during the curriculum. Though so far regardless, the curriculum is easy. I'm learning a lot about conservation and why it's important for today's exotic species. Plus once I get my certificate, I have great confidence that when I start my career, it will show my potential employers that I've gained much knowledge on the field and wish to learn more.

Thank you, but suggestion: You need to put the cell on a tripod and then have it in portrait mode the entire time as well as zoomed out a bit. You can edit the video if you want to zoom in or out during a specific step to show more details.

I’ve used gelatin pill capsules to put the powder in & stuck the pill in diff things. Wash your hand so they can’t smell the medicine. I’m in the battle of my life with panacur

Thank you so much for this video. I’ve watched a number of videos about this issue. Yours is by far the most useful and practical. As she’s gotten older, it has become almost impossible to give my dog medicine. The information about cottage cheese vs. yogurt is wonderful and I’m going to buy cottage cheese today. Fingers crossed…I’m at my wits end.

You are AMAZING!!!! I had called the vet and asked for a pill instead of powder because my girl wouldn’t take it no matter what I did. They said there wasn’t another option but gave no suggestions I hadn’t already tried. Watched your video and made a quick trip to the store and viola! Cottage cheese with the powder mixed in separate from her meal. She cleaned it all up 🤩 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Daisy May thanks you too 🥰

I loved this course! Though I was already retired, I wanted to learn more about the behind-the-scenes "stuff" at a vet hospital so I'd have a better idea of how to help our vet help me to take better care of my dogs. It's been about 6 years since I finished the course - and I have different dogs now - but I will always be glad I took the course.

I am watching this video in November 2023. I have been struggling to give my dogs antibiotic liquid and your tip about adding it to cottage. Cheese was awesome all this time I’ve been fighting with them and wasting so much meds. All I had to do was the cottage cheese trick and Bam it works every time.
