Most of th times if you see a plow they have five or more engines behind it pushing.you need more power and alot more weight to throw to get the debris out of the way.nice try nonetheless.

Friends plow train ( RC ) is extremely heavy, powertrain is 2 of the LGB starter kit trains, it make my Bachmann 4-6-6-4 Baldwin feel like a lightweight. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIeuo4h_hNugh5Y The modified white pass can also move snow, same power train + a goo amount of lead. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYClqKxum76Wo80

I presume the engines are powered by electric motors? How about blowinng hot air on the tracks to melt the snow aand ice? Or you could use a de 14:15 -iceer. Or make a mecanical snow blower like used by CN, CP or the scabnavian railways. The ice is difficult as it derails main line engines.

At 12.00 you are using rivets are they also aluminum like the angle youvare using for the frame of the btidge. As if not you might get a galvenomic reaction between disimilar metals, leading to corision, like on a land rovers body (aluminum) and its chassie (steel).

Nice install, I did an RS3 very similar to yours a couple years ago. I tend to burn my fingers with the hot glue, trying to work too fast. I like your install, looking great!

Well, I did most of the thinking while I did the rebuild of the A-unit. Second time is just that much easier. 🚂😊 And you don’t have to put the hot glue on the fingers…🙃

What is the total length of this track?

The small original 8 digit-loop is 42 m., the track through the large curve with all the bridges is about 30 m. In “the highend” (in the lowest part for the garden) I’m ready to lay down the next 50 m of track. When I finish the large loop I’ll be around 200 m for the first singletrack layout - and double up in the future, when I finish the second track loop. If you want it in ft., just make it x3,3. 🚂😊
