(I hope that’s an appropriate pronoun) my son and best friend are both on the spectrum and I’m just so damn happy that you’re as empowered as you are to give yourself the grace to move and speak as you need to. I think that’s an awesome example for others with spicy brains (even if that wasn’t your intention) and especially for those who don’t. Our practice, our crafts, and creations are as unique as we are and I’m already so excited to watch the rest of the video. I hope this doesn’t come off as condescending or overly mushy, but I wanted to celebrate that for a second.

Lmao at the metric of cookie quality being toxic people still trying to snag a batch! I have family I'm no-contact with still trying to get cookies through intermediaries YEARS later. That corset is going to be an absolute work of art when it's finished. I can only imagine the empowering effect it would have on one's mindset to put on something of that quality each day. Responding to your end questions, I always have a mini marseille and a mini oracle in my bag. Marseille: mamanmiyuki mini. Oracle: an argentinian indie called El oráculo del gato. I have a lot of minis and have been thinking I could rotate them, but the mamanmiyuki is still the one I always carry.

I really loved this video! I loved hearing about all the super specific things you need and adjustments you’ve made to accommodate those needs. I have a lot of very specific needs as well due to different neurological issues so it’s always a struggle to find bags that work for me. I actually don’t like my current bag aesthetically but it’s super functional so it’s the one I have. You’ve inspired me to think outside the box and think about adjustments I can make to bags I like so I can make them functional! 🤎

I so love a chatty collection video! I think most of the value in a collection video (for me, at least) actually in hearing what people THINK of the decks and how relate to and use them, rather than in just seeing the cards. I think these kinds of conversations are just as much an exploration of practice as discussions of reading style, systems, etc. I also consider it to also be intrinsically related to those things, as well as a great vehicle by which to actually, you know, talk about *art*? Which I think is pretty much always a positive! The Oracle of Black Enchantment is fantastic. 🧡 That woodcut-style art is everything. I find it to be so evocative and intuitive for me that the pdf guidebook is not necessary. I managed to get all three colorways in bumped-box sales over the course of the last year or two, and I have no regrets because it's one of my most used oracles. And yes, I count them as one deck! I have been using Dreams of Pantagruel with the Earth Magick Tarot (by Daniel Martin Diaz), and wow, do they speak to each other! It brings such a sense of humor and outside-the-box perspective to a tarot spread, and it works great with an open-reading style. It's a lot of fun, but can also really effectively draw the attention to things that might be overlooked otherwise. Anyway, I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on collecting and the insights into the way you use your decks in this video. Your videos are always delightfully thought-provoking!

When you showed golden tarot, I was looking through pagan otherworlds, and when you showed pagan othersworlds, I was looking through golden tarot *lol* This was the perfect video for me to watch and take out my all of my tarot & oracle decks to see which ones I am feeling drawn to using more for some time. I have been into tarot for years but my collection has grown and dwindled multiple times, and I never quite figured out tarot being a deep interest of mine, and being part of my life (especially since only this year have I truly discovered my own spiritual / mystical / magic path). I get so easily overwhelmed with it all (as I have had to recover from several bouts of burnout); what deck(s) to currently use, why I have a collection in the first place, why I bought these decks specifically and not the plenty of others I have seen but have no interest in, why I still want to add to my collection, how I read the cards, how I experience tarot, etc. It is a lot to figure out and it is a slow process that I have tried to rush in previous years, only to (of course) fail in the end (and I have grown to love the slowness of it) I currently have 21 in total (16 tarot & 5 oracle) and I also have to take my time with diving deep into them, but my limit is 50. I have never had 50 before, so I am not sure if when I get there if it'll be too much, though I feel that is truly my limit (the touching of the ceiling). I was going to go with 30 ideally (3 being my favorite number since I can remember), but there are still decks I have been wanting for months and years that cause me to reach pass such, so 50 it is 👌🏻 All of your collection videos through the years always make me think about my own use of tarot, because I do not like reading about the future or doing things like shadow work (actively seeking it out) or just having the focus be too much on my mundane reality. I am currently in favor of simply pulling a card or three and sitting with the experience of them; becoming part of the art or the art expanding into my reality, taking it all in sensory wise, understanding how it makes me feel and just allowing the art to communicate to me then either sitting with it (contemplation that I integrate) or journaling about it. But tarot is for sure *more* to me. It is a map, an embodiment of so many facets / aspects of reality, it is embodied mysticism (something I am so heavily & innately aligned with), it *is* supernatural / the otherworlds, it *is* astral, it *is* prayer & communion with deity / the divine (which I have the same view with you on; how much larger the divine truly is), and more. There is honestly more for me to think about and flesh out in regards to everything you have said towards the ending of this video (which I have written down to ponder), and I am just so appreciative of the videos you create. They never fail to offer fresh perspective, interesting ideas, insight, magic, understanding, expansion, the experience of someone else's unique self / how your self is actualized in all that you love and do, and overall just awe. Thank you for choosing to still create any / all of the videos you upload 💐🤍 (I look even more forward to reading the Earthsea books as well)

I love watching your Tarot collection videos because not only are you very passionate about your decks but you explain the connection they have with you…. It’s always interesting to see someone else’s perspective on why they prefer which decks they prefer. I’ve always noticed that we have similar interest in decks for different reasons entirely ! What you said about the ravens prophecy today was so understandable even though it’s one of my absolute Home decks but that’s what I enjoy the most about watching your videos because you see how the thing that you love can interact with another person vibration and where they’re at in their practice. This is so relatable! Thank you for sharing! I tend to prefer soft abstracts, like maybe one colour but different textures in that colour. Or gradient from one colour to another but more blending like water colour. I love the texture of oil paintings, pencil shadings... nature landscapes. My eyes find that style of sameness and yet something to focus on soothing... not high contrast most of the time.

Love this video! Firstly, lmao at "They make me hungry". So relatable. Being an "alternative" looking person is so funny because while a lot of people will be very nasty to you, it's almost easier to deal with than the other percentage who will comment on the most random aspects of your appearance that you would never think to prepare a response for. 😅 I had green hair for a bit last year, and the amount of unexpected comments I recieved was astonishing. Also, this is such a valuable conversation to have. Because I think we neurodivergent people can unintentionally end up in a place where we just DON'T go out anymore because it's such a burdensome thing to try to make that a bearable experience. It's a lot to plan for. The mental load is a lot to deal with, especially for those of us who have a chronic illness to plan around on top of it all. I know I have gone through those periods. I'm working toward getting out of one right now. All this to say, I enjoyed hearing about all of your work-arounds. It prompts me to think about what I could do to make it easier/more enjoyable for myself as well. Also, I share your problem of getting VERY overheated pretty much in an instant in those situations, and it sucks so, so bad!

This sense of conceptualized genus loci and the spirits of the liminal spaces. Abandoned, rustic areas hold such magic. It's like the spaces themselves become portals. I dont have these decks, but I feel certain similarities with your Pantagruel deck (although it doesn't have a timelessness like Somnia). There is so much to process and digest in this video, that I cannot elaborate in the frame of a few lines. I too moved from a city environment to a country town. I guess in italy the general feeling of a city can be quite different from the United States; what I noticed though is that, until I was immerse in that environment I wasn't aware of the ways it affected me and my perceptions. In contrast, now everytime I go from the country to a city somewhere, I feel the shift and I see more clearly the energies infoming that place. Sometimes I can respond accordingly, sometimes not. But improving.

I am not sure where to leave this comment but perhaps I might leave it here and on your blog (for the purpose of engagement ✨). Before I begin the of my thoughts because , I just have to say you look so beautiful and gorgeous! Your makeup is breathtaking! The dark tint of the colors you used is so enriching and it stands out soooo amazingly well! 🌹❤ Before I clicked to watch, I was using Somnia tarot myself, inquiring about its essence and the truth of the place and realm it resides, and though I am not in full understanding (struggling to translate what I feel from the cards into words), I felt its liminality and it being a sort of hidden place, a place in the back of my mind, a place I dive into, a whole bodily and spiritual experience only for it to be sooo deep that when I journey back to the top (of the ocean's surface), it all seemed to be a hyperrealistic dream, something that resides deeply within my psyche, only being able to experience it again once I choose to dive in repeatedly (inner changes moreso than outer). Now onto what you talked about within this video; I have a very similar experience about the emptiness of New Jersey, the remnants of buildings, the scattered places of such and wetlands, being able to see the New York City skyline (which has always amazed me as a kid, the way everything is colored in blue, but still so clear). I thought it was only me that was aware of the emptiness of NJ (not that I have people around me that pay attention in sensory ways that I do), and I never thought much about it either, how prevalent the emptiness is, from having and still living and traveling places within NJ, especially the seemingly forgotten about, avoided/ignored places where people still live, or don't. I have seen so many buildings remain as shells of themselves and the mixture it creates with seeing people walking about and living as if those buildings are truly gone is such a strange feeling, a deep melancholy that I am not even sure how to express. There is also the sight of long railroads that have always left me wondering about where they would take me, where the last stop would be, and if they are still operating (I still have such curiosity and a desire to ride a top of one of the trains, being able to be closer to the trees that gather on each side of the tracks). And I of course cannot forget about the permanent dull, foggy, light gray colored scheme (too cool toned for my liking) that seems to follow wherever I go. Life was brighter as a child, but even back then, the gray was present. (I should also mention that I was surprised and filled with an interesting excitement when I found out you lived and grew up in NJ when I read that one blog post of yours. The being close enough to a mall, coming up from a highway is what settled it lol) Thinking about it now, I the color scheme of Somnia, but it also sometimes feel a bit dull to me because it is so familiar and reminds me of my desire to escape NJ one day, because it reminds me of the places I live and have been in NJ, especially since I grew up and still live within the less fortunate part of NJ. I am now wondering if Somnia is tapped into the liminal of this trip-state area, the seemingly spiritual veil that seems to be so easily accessible to me as well, ever since I was a kid. It surprises me too that both Nicolas Bruno and Patrick Valenza are from around here! That gives a lot of merit to this curiosity and exploration of nightmares, tarot, and the tri-state area especially when I can relate so much! I have struggled with sleeping since I was a kid (insomnia), have had my fair share of nightmares (mostly religious in nature), sleep paralysis, spiritual attacks that has been with me ever since I was a teenager until a month or two ago, from traveling (without my will/wanting to do so) to a darkness realm (a spiritual version of my childhood home that I am still living in) that is always dark (no lights or electricity of any kind works there) and being endlessly stalked, attacked, bothered by shadow/all dark beings who I can feel in my body when they touch me and rush at me (a sensation I do not believe I will ever be able to describe because it is so non-human and a sort of coldness that is painful/sharp).
