We were also hyper aware that the USA and Russia were at loggerheads and that at any moment they could go to wart. They were ready to blow them up, they were killing USA sympathisers every other day, but they never said their enemy was faking the landing. ONLY the landing out the window, was not live footage. It was impossible to film and send that as it happened. It took time to set up the camera and the live feed after landing. the rest of it was live.
