I love Kotoko and This Song! Thank you for uploading this 😍!

Thank you for reuploading this gem. Growing up my stepdad had gotten this AMV online and put it on my brother's PSP. We were like 9 and 13 back then, fast forward and we are in our mid-late 20s now. Maybe like the uploader of this video, I remembered it awhile back and looked EVERYWHERE for it and had no luck. This year my brother came to me out of nowhere and brought it up and we got the PSP charged and it was still on there! We found the song and I have been listening to it on Spotify as I forgot what it was called (I was a kid). Tonight I decided to look up and see if the video was online since I just got done listening to it and I am glad to see this video got reuploaded. I hope the original creator is doing well, thanks for this kick-ass AMV! Hopefully they're enjoying the remakes.

I think this is my favourite one, helped since its one of my favourite parts of the whole series. Endings are usually let downs, but north & south got it absolutely perfect!

To be fair, the carriage didn't have a back window and she would have had to lean out of the side window in a very awkward way if she wanted to actually look back.

I loved that she felt so deeply about others and the circumstances that did not directly affect her in the first half of the story before her own personal Hell that Margret fiercely believed what she wrote and believed. A stunning story, and the music was just the cherry on top. Beautiful.

After everything that they had been through, that scene was like the first big breath of fresh air they were able to have in years. I'm glad Lizzy G didn't have the mill burn down at the end. They needed and deserved that happy ending. Oh that dreamy look Armitage gives her! My heart!! I wish he'd play more characters like this one more often.

As a quasi-sociopathic asshole who's come to, through experience, cynically regard most women as complacent schloots with little-to-no personality beyond their attitudes and gossip, I've had a LOT of superficial relationships of a pump-and-dump nature but...I shit you not, the first _real_ girlfriend I've ever had sat us down to watch _THIS_ on our third date and I was lifted in love by both. You scratch away enough of most girl's opinions and you pierce the veneer painted over unexplored feelings, maybe a heartfelt memory or association but, rarely a well-contemplated answer for anything but this girl, when she spent 25 minutes articulating _WHY_ this series meant so much to her, covering every detail, theme, and character and how it related to her beloved father, a gruff man of great responsibility like Mr. Thornton who was loving even as he was hard and coarse given the mantle he bore and the expectations laid upon...wow... First and last true girlfriend I ever had and I rewatch this series yearly to rekindle the yearning in my soul it ignited for genuine, unspoiled, contemplative women. We dated for six months as I realized I couldn't treat her like the rest; we'd never even made out or "done the deed," even though I clearly sparked something in her and the potential was present. I _COULDN'T_ proceed "as usual" because she struck me as a virtuous and principled person, raised supremely well by a loving and industrious father and a kind and compassionate mother. She was a girl of propriety, like Miss Hale in her time, who wanted to see the world through the light of ideals and people as the best they could be, as "children of God with every capacity to be as He intended them", as she said. I believe she was LDS but man, would that I had been a Christian, and one worthy of her company. After a tearful breakup--cause you just have to, she was still a girl, this emotionally-attaching creature with this inherent desire to bring out the best in me, regardless of how tarnished I knew I'd make her despite her protests that she could maintain both me AND her spiritual standards--I penned a note to her father, commending him for raising such a wonderful daughter and condemning him for having sent her to college where she might encounter fox-pawed scoundrels like me. There are just some people who inspire you to become a better person and this girl was one of them, and she loved _North & South_ and every time this track rolls, I remember that Jean-Paul Sartre was only half right...Hell may be other people but, it can also be found within. This was a great series and whenever anyone asks what I love to watch, I expound on it as _she_ did for me. That was a long-winded contextual tale but, I feel it a transcendent show beloved by transcendent people.

This particular soundtrack, even though has such a beautiful and positive ending on screen, there’s something about it that just gets me every time I listen to it! Automatically, I am all teary-eyed. As if it brings forth something which I am yearning for…don’t know what but certainly “something”! Was searching for this track for so long…and here it is finally!

This whole scene (and the "Look back at me" scene) is a masterpiece - the cinematography, the score; Mr. Thornton walking throught the mill with the cotton flying around him and Margaret's words - "I believe I've seen hell - it's white, it's snow-white..." British Period Drama at its finest!
