A scared Mr. Truthman (Taehyung) comes home at night and gives his 'V persona-statue' a realitycheck. It's about the price you pay for fame, working as an idol in a "dreamfactory" industry. The role fans are given by the industry are included in the story: His fans have various ideas about who he is, many diffrent statue-versions of him excists. All the statues we meet in the factory are created. The represents both idols working AND fans worshiping (he has a party with them). In the end all the statues lies smashed on the ground after Taehyung gave us a fierce strong gaze standing on an open field, he left the big mansion. We don't really know him: he does. The director said the MV is about daydreams and nightdreams. But his company said it's about a man falling in love with a statue and have daydreams about her (Pygmalion myth). Spot the difference! The comp 'erased' the dark night because they probably want to keep his idol persona.

V at the end was actually a statue and the V in black was the actual sculpture. As was all the people and the woman. Its an escape of sorts when someone is lonely. We kind of make things real in our minds. An escape if you will.
